Your pricing was a little confusing, our $29.95 rental with $0.89 per km ended up being $155.00 rental while Boeing charged -$1.69 per km. I don't think I'll ever use uhaul services again there are many other options out there. We used it because it was convenient but never again.Anthony M.

The app wouldn't work for after hours pick up. I was then placed on hold for 2 hours. The truck was dirty. If it wasn't for Selena (Or Serena?) We would not have been able to get the truck. I picked up the truck before the facility opened, so after I got the combination I went to the lock box to get the key. The lock was in an awkward place, and VERY hard to open. Surely there must be an easier, more intuitive and better design.Henry P.

I had a pick up appointment for 9 AM. I arrived at 8:50. had to wake the person up from sleep. The vehicle assigned to me was not available because the keys were locked inside. Arrangements were made to drive to another location to pick up a vehicle. That person had no idea I was coming. After sorting all things out. I was late leaving by over an hour and had to drive extra KM because of picking up vehicle in new location. Very poor experience.ROBERTJ H.
- Did not provide blankets as per my contract requiring me to phone multiple times to follow up how to get them. Had to drive to another UHaul location to get them adding time to my moving day. - Locks to get key too difficult to open despite location acknowledging that. Maybe change them? - Could have filled the truck up with fuel given the distance I needed to move and that fact that I needed to drive 40km to pick up the truck.Shah M.

Although we didnt have the greatest experience and almost felt ripped off from that certain location...moving is stressful and expensive enough i wish people wouldnt take advantage. But after speaking with Karon from a head office location she handled the situation so professionally and sorted everything out. This experience wont stop us from using uhaul just maybe calling head office first to make our order. Thank you for handling everything so professionally and timely.mercedes K.
Your newly implemented software that requires you to download photos of drivers license etc, does not work. It requires multyple tries and even the onsite attendant (who was very helpful and apologetic) found it agravating as the line up of awaiting customers grew. This further exacebated because last Xmas I had had a worse experience trying to check out a rental out of a location that was closed. I downloaded your APP which proved to be a complete failure. I retried using email and that also failed. Finally a kind person from your head office contacted me by phone and was able to help remotely. It astounds me that more than a month later your software is not functional.Eduardo S.

The location link on the reservation confirmation was not the actual pickup location so we wasted time finding the real pickup location - I suspect this is not a dealer-specific issue. Truck cab armrest/coffee cup holder was really dirty.Allan G.

This was totally unacceptable. I booked my truck weeks in advance and they called me the day before to tell me they had no truck for me at my agreed upon location. Only to advise me that the only truck pick up available was in port Perry. This was a huge inconve ience and about 2 hours + total. When I was returning truck I was told I could go to any site, only to find out I would have to pay extra to return to incorrect address. When I got back to the incorrectly scheduled drop off location (I choose this for a pick up not a drop off) I was told I would have to pay for for an additional day. This charge was never put through but man, what a total pain in the arse. I have always used uhaul but after this experience I will never use it again. And i will be sure to tell all of my friends about the terrible experience. Moves are stressful enough, uhaul should know better than to over book trucks.Sarah A.

Dear Uhaul. I am a repeat registered business customer of many years. All my information is on my U-Haul account file. This information includes my name, phone number, address and my Driver's Licence Number. To rent a trailer, each and every time, I see no reason why this particular location needs to take a photo of my Driver's Licence. Why not just look at my Driver's Licence and verify this is what is already on my file. This really makes me feel uncomfortable and I feel violated. I worry about identity theft as I see that the repeated picture taking of my personal identification as a severe threat to my personal identity protection and very unnecessary as this information again, is on my file. I simply do not feel safe and confident that multiple photos of my Driver's Licence that are being stored needlessly and I wonder if they are actually safe.Robert K.

I rented the fully covered trailer 6x12 . I wish the trailer tong had a hand crank jack Would consider this trailer a hazard to anyone lifting it up to hook up. I may rent someplace else if they don't put one on. Regards MikeMIKE L.
The truck we rented could have been cleaned (swept) a bit better. And all the windows/mirrors should be cleaned - as the salt was pretty thick, so I cleaned them myself with Windex. Overall staff were helpful and it was a good experience.Roy W.

This particular truck was in major need of a tune up. At 144K miles, it should have been running smoother instead of sputtering and gasping for air as we tried to accelerate. Staff that this location - fantastic!CARL K.

The truck I rented was.from Arizona. I actually cleaned the steering wheel and dash, but my wife's white coat got filthy from the seat. Aside from that, I was very pleased with my experience with uhaul. The ABS light kept flickering on.ANIL M.
The receipt provided had the wrong pick up location listed. I attended the listed location and the staff at that location was rude and condescending while telling me I need to check my confirmation again as I have the wrong location. I advised them that my confirmation does have this location listed and pulled it up on my phone to prove it. They just sent me to the other location. I then had to drive to the new location and pick up my trailer late. On the drive over I received a call from the other location asking if I was still coming. I advised them yes. I proceeded to show them now 2 emails that I received confirming my order with still the supposed wrong location. I told them of the mix up and staff just shrugged it off providing no compensation or apology. I dont think I'll be coming back here. I was provided with the wrong location causing me to have to drive around and be late to pick up my order and start what I needed it for.Zsofi B.

We didn't have the walk around report before we took the vehicle and there was a gouge and a scratch on the back door. This should have been told to us. We had to tell the girl and she took a picture of it. Also the gas gauge was at 3/4 not 7/8 as was reported so that had to be fixed. And the inside of the van was dirty. It should at least have been swept out. The girl said this was the way that the van comes. However the girl herself was very helpful though.Susan P.
