Dolly was not provided even though we paid for it, very bad experience with the rental


No digs at the location but renting from UHAUL is a hassle. I had difficulty entering the postal code when doing the online checkin. Three calls to the US customer service and the problem still couldnt be fixed. Lady at the rental location did fix it. But, then there was a hassle with disputing the invoice showing excess gas charges. Oh well...

I made the reservation for a location nearby my home and Uhaul transfered my pick up for this location almost 15 km from my home without further notice. I have just noticed that in my confirmation email one day before. This change made me to pay extra kms, despite being a 1 way trip with everything include, because Uhaul calculated the distance based on the location originally reserved. Lastly, problems with the app hold me for 1 hour during the pick up, outside at 10 F, that was awful, if it was not for self storage store nearby I would have a frostbite by now.


The equipment I have ordered were missing since this location does not hold such items, and yet no one informed me about this in advance. I LIVE IN A CONDO SO ELEVATOR BOOKING TIMES ARE PRE-ARRANGED AND I ALMOST HAD TO RE-SCHEDULE MY MOVE DATE; which would have been a tragedy if it was the last day of my lease.


I asked for moving doly when I am booking online. Pick up day in the morning last minute I've got a text that they don't have it. If I didn't realized I was still getting charged for it. Before I return I filled up the tank but still charged for fuel. This is ridiculous. Never recommend it to anyone.
