Absolutely horrible experience! Original drop off location was closed when I arrived at 3pm when store hours are open until 430. I called 1-800-UHAUL and spent over an hour trying to get the drop off location changed. I could not drop the rental off the day I wanted too because nobody could figure out who could change my reservation/return. I had to change my entire plans and that ruined my weekend. The next day, my wife was on the phone with uhaul for over 45 mins to get a new drop off location because once again, the original drop off location was closed, when the were suppose to be open. After talking to several different representatives they relocated my drop off location to a dealer over an hour a way. UHAUL informed us that there was nobody in our immediate area that could accept our return. Once again my wife calls uhaul back. This time they find a location 17 minutes from our original drop off location. Finally got to return the car trailer. Oh, the trailer brakes didn't work on the car trailer either. What a terrible experience and a waste of my weekend!!Jensen M.

I paid for 2 dozen furniture pads but none were in the truck when I picked it up. I had unattended virtual pickup because I needed the truck before they were open at 9:00 so I could not remind them or ask for them.Emily W.

The motorcycle trailer vs utility trailer thing was annoying to figure out. Just charge the same amount for either and let me pick from the two vs one way/in town/round trip modifiers. Overall the experience was good and the service at pickup left me with nothing to worry about except transporting the bike.Daniel A.

The over the cab section allowed water to leak in and damage my coveted library. I will be submitting pictures and filing a claim. The cab was dirty and used face masked were left in it. The trucked had to be cleaned before we could use it. The oil pressure light remained on. The brakes need servicing. The process to pick up the truck needs refining and any acceptance process should be completed BEFORE going to pick it up. I'm unhappy with the entire experience. My previous Uhaul experience was far better. Now I've got additional work of filing a claim and I am just not happy about the damage. Servicing the truck before renting it out again is reccomended. 1. Leak in the top, 2. Brakes.Kenneth M.

UHAUL NEEDS TO VERBALLY INFORM CUSTOMERS IF DROP OFF LOCATIONS WILL CHANGE. IF YOU PICK UP YOUR RENTAL & YOUR DROP OFF LOCATION ISNOT ASSIGNED INFORM THE CUSTOMER TO LOOK FOR AN EMAIL FOR DROP OFF INFORMATION. IF YOUR MOVING ONE MAY NOT HAVE ACCESS TO EMAILS. YOUR MOVING! The people that worked at this location were very nice and helpful but the actual location has very little signage of it being a U-Haul pick-up site. The only way that we knew it was the spot is because we saw the vehicle sitting outside the building. The location also looked very shady and not safe. The vehicle itself was cleaned but there were some structural damage to the back of the truck that we documented on the paperwork.daniel W.

I was turned away from this location due to space available. I was directed to another location that was closed and therefore I had no help removing the hitch from the vehicle. It took my persistence to have them call and â€œofficially' changing the drop off location.Starlene B.

Multiple phone calls to get lock box open. Damage not noted on truck so 45 minutes on hold to get annotated. Multiple dropped calls. I will never use UHaul unless I deal with a real person, not a buggy computer app, and poor phone support.Mary H.

When using the internet to reserve a truck and /or moving equipment (such has a dolly or appliance cart), to be picked not during lobby business hours, and for my situations purpose, needing the Truck and equipment Tuesday April 2nd at 7:30am, U-Haul's website should not make equipment available and paid for it it's NOT going to be on the truck when needed. I made the reservation Monday night for Tuesday morning, and I went to pick up truck and equipment that Tuesday morning, and no equipment was present within the truck, and I later learned that U-Haul dealer is closed on Mondays, which meant there was no one there to even load the equipment, yet U-Haul's website let me choose and PAY for the equipment..my suggestion is to not have people pay for something when it's not even available...it caused many problems seeing as the equipment was needed to complete my job and due to not having it like I said for, we were first late to job trying to find someone open to provide the equipment I already PAID for, and then being unable to locate any, the job was harder and took longer and I ended up making much less money...Ethan B.

I rated this location average based on my experience. I requested an 8am pickup which was acknowledged on the reservation emailed to me. The location didn't open until 10am in which I was made of aware of after I called them the day prior to my reservation. This caused a significant delay in me meeting my timeline for use of the trailer. After arriving, I had to wait almost 45min to check out the trailer. Another significant delay.Wendell B.
Trailer would not pass the speed of 50 mph before it would violently sway. Also the associate who helped me put in all the wrong information, and drop off information which was 250 miles from my ending location.richard G.
Two of the lights on the trailer were not working. Also the trailer did not have a crank to lift it off of the ground. It took full size men to lift this considerably heavy tongue off of the ground and get it onto the truck. Also I only needed the trailer from Early Monday to Monday Afternoon but I was charged for several days. NO uhaul locations were open on Sunday that had the trailer so I was charged for the extra day.Joshua K.

â€œThe return drop off location will be open until 7pm... so you guys have plenty of timeâ€ - I think she was kidding. Because this location was closed. And we were left there with a 15' Uhaul and a car attached to the auto transport. We also had to drive further to CT right after we returned the Uhaul. So I googled for the nearest location and the website said they were open till 7, it was about 615pm. So we went on our way and I gave the location a call to let them know we were coming. Guess what? They were apparently closed too. But someone picked up. Now I couldn't understand him but he said there was no one to help as everyone just â€œwent outside.â€ So I told him to bring them inside as we need to return the Uhaul. More back and forth and I kept getting more upset. Finally just showed up to that location and the employee comes up to me on a bike and I spoke to the manager(on his iPhone through earbuds?) as he tried to walk me through the unloading of my car. Still couldn't understand him so I ended up unloading my car myself. All I wanted to do was leave because I was so upset and disappointed with the company and my experiences. I don't think it could have been more unprofessional. So no, I will not be considering Uhaul for my next box truck rental experience. I'll spend the extra money with Penske. Thank you.John F.
