My reservation was for yesterday (Sunday Aug 20th) at 9 am (reservation # 99484833) at Bells Corner Auto, 1912 Robertson Rd, Nepean, ON K2H5B8. I went there for my mobile pick-up at the designated time and the place was closed and there were no trucks for me. When I did the mobile check in it told me to wait until the place opened at 8 am (but it was 9 am and the place had a sign saying closed Sundays). In the system it must have 1912 Robertson Road as a mobile site, but it is definitely not open on Sundays. I had to end up waiting on hold with U-haul , talk to an agent (who was.quite nice and helpful) and then go to another location down the road (5-2006 Robertson Road) to get a truck. The agent had to change my location on the reservation and luckily there was a truck of the size I needed. This whole process took an extra 45 minutes of my time when I had friends waiting on me to help with the move. Even though it was only about 1/2 mile down the road it was a huge inconvenience because the information the system was giving me was totally incorrect. I suggested to the agent that you need to correct this in the system . The location 5-2006 Robertson was fine, and my problem was with 1912 Robertson. The one other thing worth mentioning is that at 5-2006 Robertson the keys for the truck were sitting inside the back of the truck with no lock or lockbox. The mobile check in also did not give details about finding them there. It was only through trial and error that I located the keys. This seems like a big risk for thef, not having the keys in a locked container. I told the agent on the phone yesterday the same information as she stayed on the phone through the whole process. I hope this issue gets corrected so another customer does not have to go through the same as I did.Andrew B.

Location hours were quite limited. Truck was very old and had over 100,000 MILES on it. Vent covers missing and overall the cab interior felt dirty with many not-so-pleasant sticky surfaces. Not fair to attribute this to the location as the truck could have come from anywhere, but though it did drive properly and got the job done, it was definitely near or past the very end of its life as a rental truck. U Haul should place mirors that allow the driver to see in the back of the van when backing up. I got into an accident because I did nit see the car behind me I doubt that I was the only customer affected by this oversight on your part. Technology exist for this deficiency.. So the location was great but the rental was not.robert G.

I was just looking at the receipt after a week. I was busy moving so I didn't have time to look at it. But basically the guy at this location scammed me. He charged me for 223km but I only used the van for 33km. We even filled up the gas tank more than what we are supposed to. just to avoid being charged extra. Overall I should have been charged $50 max but I spend $170. I contacted them haven't heard anything from them.Josa D.

The online system helps a lot-- my last reservation was before it was set up, and this is much, much better. As for the location at Water Mart: Ron is the best! He was able to accommodate me ASAP and with a slight change in the rental he did it quickly. Hope that everyone is as great as he is.Jayson M.
After I was told on the phone and received CONFIRMED texts that my pick up and drop off location where at one spot, I was told when I got there it was changed to a different location. That added an extra half hour of my driving there on a Friday afternoon traffic with people helping me move waiting for me. It added an extra hour of driving to use the truck I had no money to pay for because I'm broke after leaving my marriage and didn't budget for. That change was completely unnecessary and now I'm further into debt having to borrow money to pay for the extra costs of u-haul taking it upon themselves to change my pick up and drop off locationColleen L.

The bill i saw online didnt reflect what was in store. I Made a change to the truck only when coming to the store, but all other details was changed. I got charge more than it was suppose to be. More lighting at truck parking location and better lighting at key drop off. No place to comment about rental of equipment and there should be a lock to lock the back of the truck and let them know the blankets got wet from inside the truck. Truck leaks.Paul S.

I requested the one way to be picked up from Carleton place. And got no confirmation booking. Online when I reserved the truck it reported Carleton place was good for a 1 way pickup and when I got there there was no truck had to hunt down the truck for another hour and drive another 30 minutes. This truck was dirty, we had to clean it before driving it. It was over 100 decibles in the truck, so we had to use ear plugs. There was a water leak (and it rained) and the passenger got wet for half the ride. Aside from the man helping us get our truck, customer service was TERRIBLE.samantha G.
I sent a picture of dirty truck from inside while picking it up and even then they charged 25$ cleaning fees to me upon return. If I did not receive it clean, how can I return it by cleaning on my own ? Doesn't make any sense. Great little truck. Strange way of doing the return gas thing. Truck was three quarters full when I got it so I tried to used their weird gas chart. Filled it just over three quarters but dealer said it needed 15 more dollars of gas. Strange system open to abuse.David M.

There was one issue with the truck: after 30 minutes driving on the highway, the TPMS starting flashing. I cycled thru the readings and the RR tire was showing "---". The other three were showing 78, 80 ,84. I stopped at the next service station and checked the tires. All were fine, which indicated to me that the sensor itself was bad. The TPMS reported this issue for the entire trip (1400 km total) but there were no problems with the tires.John Brian T.

I had no assurances that the vehicle was at all sanitized before picking it up, I did my vehicle drop off.on line and have yet to get an official receipt of the amount that is being put on my credit card.. While I get that times are changing, I still appreciate having someone do a walk around the vehicle with me etc... very impersonalaudrey L.
My only issue was that the blankets I reserved were not put into the truck prior to pick-up. Since I had to pick up the truck before the branch opened, I was forced to do the move without the blankets, which didn't make for a completely smooth move. Everything else was fine.Simba M.
