Great location, had issues booking online (it changed my reservation to another week and a city 300km away), so I ended up booking directly through the location. Super easy to book and friendly staff. Would recommend this location for sure!

Stop trying to rip people off with your online booking, It purposely wanted me to go to the east end of Ottawa to pick up a truck going west. At least 35 km further. It did it on my first booking as well made me drive 10 miles past a dealer that had plenty of vehicles I wanted. It even changed my drop off location, there is a location within one mile of me, and it wanted me to drop it off at least 18 km away. Its just not right

The driver and passenger area has unpleasant smell when entering the truck , it requires attention to improve the smell and make it smell fresh .

The online way of giving back the truck kind of sucked. We should be made aware that we have to do it on site and in the car. And please someome pick up the phone there... I needed the truck for like an extra hour and I called many times and no answer. That kind of sucked. But aside from that the guy was nice.

We did not have the additional equipment we had ordered and returned the truck 1hr later. We also had a great deal of difficulty in obtaining the truck via the app. The app did not function and we had to call customer service..getting approval was painfully long and confusing. And to finish things off the padlock on the truck was not explained and we had to take approx 4 attempts to figure it out. And finally I got charged 60 dollars plus for a job I was not able to do. I find the entire experience aweful and hope that I never have to deal with U-Haul , which was always my first choice.

You should always rent a vehicle with a full tank of gas so that the customer doesn't put more fuel into the tank than they used when they top it up, something that is easy to do.

I rented my truck on the evening of Dec.18th. The truck that was given to me had a thick sheet of ice on the windshield while all the other trucks on the lot were cleared. It took me 15 minutes to clear it. The truck only had 1/4 tank of gas in it and with -20 degree weather I think the trucks should have it least a half a tank. Not impressed and will rent elsewhere for future.

I had issues upon returning the truck, in that, there was a balance owing. I attempted to use my Visa debit to settle it, but, it wasn't accepted. I went to the dealer during business hours to deal with it, but, had to involve Customer Service to rectify the situation. Everything was resolved, but, it just seemed like a lot of hassle to get it done.

This location saved my day. The location I was supposed to pick up my U-Haul from gave my truck to the person ahead of me in line, who did not have a reservation on a truck. This location came through when the one down the street royally screwed up.

Hello , The amount that was shown in the receipt is not what is deducted from the credit card. Please review this issue because the amount deducted from the credit card is higher than the in receipt

You just charged me $30 for cleaning. The truck was clean and when i took it it was not that clean. This is a good way to steal people's money. I would not recommend this location.

I noticed that right hand (passenger side) mirror did not maintain the setting. bumps moved the mirror and looked at he pavement! Even after adjustment it wert AOL! Otherwise great truck!!!!! igor

U-Haul manager at Water Mart in Bells Corner, Ottawa is very friendly and easy going gentleman. It was a very pleasant experience to rent the U-Haul truck. And trust me - I know what I am saying - because before I went to Water Mart location, I've been to another two U-Haul places in the area (I won't be naming them). If I have to - I will rent here again. Cheers!

Water Mart is always extremely friendly and professional- always a pleasure. That being said, every time I rent a uhaul there is always so much confusion about where the pick up location is. I don't know what needs to be done, but I feel the online bookings should be clearer.

The truck was generally clean (no garbage), but clearly, with constant use, the cab area doesn't see a regular cleaning. The box section of the truck was clean, although the rails/runners for the back door hadn't seen oil in a while, so a few squirts of WD-40 solved that issue ---- again just constant use. Generally....happy.

The truck was dirty inside, I had to sweep it out and get rid of small rubbish, the guy that served us is a liar, he mad a promise about it being ok to return the truck an hour late, then even when I saw him and spoke to him, he made the same promise to my face, half an hour later the e-invoice arrived and he had charged me an extra day. DON'T MAKE PROMISES THAT YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF KEEPING

The rental experience was fine, but returning wasn't: I returned the vehicle a day early but THEY DIDN'T CHECK THEIR KEY BOX, so I got charged for two days instead of one. When I called, they said "Oh, we didn't see it, call UHaul". Terrible service experience.

The original location that I was directed to pick up my vehicle did not have any vehicle available for me. The person behind the counter said "oh well, this happens all the time. Here is a 1-800 number to call". Thank goodness someone was able to find an available vehicle not from from the original place. I was really quite annoyed that I took the time to make a reservation, got a confirmation number and there wasn't a vehicle available for me. Poor service.

The representatives at Water Mart were friendly and enthusiastic. I appreciated their knowledge of the uhaul process. Unfortunately the new computer system upgrade made my initial reservation unable to be located on the system. This issue was resolved and our overall experience was very positive.

Everything was smooth and vehicle ran well. An explanation of the "tow/haul" option would have been helpful. There was a significant amount of water that leaked in to the cargo portion of the truck while driving and while parked. One easy chair was soaked and several boxes had the bottoms soaked through. I have pictures of the easy chair. You should check the integrity of this cargo hold. The charge of $9.79 for gas seems very petty as well. Where can I email the picture of the wet chair? The wet boxes photo does not show the water damage very well.
