Garbage from prior renter was left behind in the drivers and passenger side doors, seats needed to be vacuum, no windshield wiper fluid, the windows were dirty and hard to look through. We could't use the AC, as there was an awful smell coming through. The steering wheel was sticky.SHELLY B.

The 24/7 self check in didn't work. I tried calling uhaul's customer service line because the store wouldn't open for another 2.5 hours, but was left on hold for a very long time and never ended up talking to anyone. I ended up having to reschedule my move with multiple people for hours later when the store opened. The store worker was helpful but because of uhaul's defective website and nonexistent phone help, I would never recommend you to anyone. 1/10.JASON C.

The store was closed and I took mine a long time to make the final arrangements over the phone to be able to take possession of the truck. I reserved a dolly which was not inside the vehicle by the time I was at the store so I had to go to a different location for a dolly and spent a long time explaining my situation to the manager in order for him to give me a dolly.Arturo A.
The pickup process with the app is not straightforward. I was charged for fuel and miles. I didn't make a note of the exact fuel level before I took the truck, and nobody told me what it was. I put 3/8 tank when dropping off, which is close to where it was when I grabbed it (only drove 15 miles). How is that enough info to determine what my fuel charge should be?Sarah M.

Equipment was not in the vehicle when we arrived to pick it up using the â€œself pickup with phone appâ€ option. The location wasn't open so we spent over 45 minutes trying to get what we had paid for. Customer service reps on the phone hung up on us in the process. Eventually the location opened & we were able to get our equipment but not without much frustration.Katie S.

After hours drop off. Owner was actually on site and had blocked off a significant amount of parking with personal vehicles. I still found a place to park that was not obstructing cars, the gate, or any storage. The owner still insisted I move the truck. When I tried to indicate I was in the middle of the drop off procedures, he waved me off and said "Don't worry about that I'll take care of it." I parked the truck where he wanted me to inside the gated area. When I left the gated area and approached him about handling the drop off, he refused and said "I was just doing damage control so I wouldn't be inconvenienced later". Because I'd left the gated area I could not get back in to finish the after hours drop off process, so he basically cost me $20.Mark M.

Return should be when the time you got the truck, not based on reservation time. We had to wait while another customer was being helped. About five minutes wait. What if we had to wait longer.JC E.

Uhaul was very dirty and smelled horrible in the cab.Spencer K.
just make sure the truck is clean. The windshield was very dirty along with the passenger side of the vehicle I rented. You couldn't even touch the door opener without getting dirty. Make sure there enough moving pads there wasn't any there for that truck. And was told I could drive to another uhaul to pick some pads up, why would I want to do that when I have to pay for gas and miles. Nobody was there to accept the keys and for me to find out what my total bill was going to be. So now I have to just trust that I won't be overcharged, that never seems to work out. Your store hours said open at 930 am , I was there until 950am and nobody showed up.PATRICK G.
Prices were high. Higher than I thought they would be. You advertise $20 a day in town but that is just the rental fee. I could have rented a pickup from Enterprise or another car rental agency for probably less (or at least for about the same amount) and had the car for an entire day with no extra cost for mileage. Almost 80 bucks to go 60 miles in 4 hours is pretty steep. It was convenient and easy with the mobile check in and return so there is that and the van I rented was nice, well maintained and almost brand new which was nice.JonPaul S.
The passenger side mirror was loose and we had to duck tape it so it wouldn't come off. Someone had to ride in the passenger seat to constantly readjust the mirror as it would jiggle out of place. Very unsafe and annoying.Laurel W.

The representative at this location was very, very helpful and friendly. My reservation was a little mixed up, my fault, and she corrected my mistake and got me set up with another truck. The van was pretty dirty on the outside (some parts of it were almost black). I didn't mind that too much but others may. I'd also requested moving blankets which were not available (I was told because people don't return them). Maybe having some extras as a backup would work well. Otherwise everything went smoothly! My reservation was changed and I was not informed then when I called they told me they didn't have the truck I ordered and if I wanted one I had to drive further I said I could not so was left with a smaller truck (which wasn't big enough and I had to get more cars to help). I did not ask for my return location to be changed, but when arriving at my set return location I found out that had been changed with out my knowledge and it was further away. I was charged more money for an awful experience and next time will not be using u-haul.Sierra S.
