Sergey K | Overall ExperienceThe best part of this location is the area itself. Being in Central Square is truly unbeatable, and that’s a big reason why my rating is as high as it is. In terms of my experience, the staff wasn’t always very friendly at the front desk. The only person who was consistently kind was the guy who ended up breaking my lock on my last day. He was truly the best - friendly, kind, upbeat and deserves a raise! The space felt quite small for the price, especially compared to my unit in Denver which is much cheaper and almost double the size. I also really wish there were the same conveniences I’m used to in Denver. For example, having the option to keep a spare key would have helped a lot because I did end up misplacing mine. The limited hours were also tough since there were times I needed to get in an hour before or after closing, which I can easily do at my Denver location. Another thing I noticed, which made me feel uneasy, is that it seemed like some people were living out of their units. There was even a moment when someone was brushing their teeth inside. I don't wish that this stops being a service for them, but do think it needs to be monitored. And as a small, petite woman, it was inconvenient to have to find the stairs and move them to reach my upper unit. I wish there had been an option to select a bottom unit. Overall, it worked fine for short-term storage, but there were several things that made the experience less convenient and comfortable than what I’m used to elsewhere.
