I am writing regarding my storage unit 218 at your facility. After returning from two months of travel outside Canada, I opened my unit at near about 4:00PM Today 3rd of March and found rat droppings throughout the space, a strong rodent odor, and visible fungus on items such as my sofa, table and mattress. The entire unit smells heavily of rats, and I have not even been able to fully inspect the boxes due to the contamination. I showed the condition to one of your employees, and he advised me to contact management. This situation is unacceptable and not what anyone would reasonably expect from a storage facility. Due to the contamination and health concerns associated with rodent droppings and fungus, I cannot safely use these belongings. I am requesting that the company take responsibility and replace all contaminated items. Please let me know how you intend to resolve this matter. Thanks

And that was it. Informed her that as soon as i stepped in the door the was a dead mouse. And it was dried out. Told Krista and she just says ohreally and i added, the place hadn't been locked at ina while Response: it was just cleaned two days ago. It's been much more than. Two days. She asked if the unit was clean irepliedcleanerthan when it it. The amount of mouse dropping i had to sweep up was insane. Then when all's said and done i asked if we needed to payto use the dumpster( as it says in agreement and is posted on the wall) She replied oh no actually we don't do that ,our dumpster is too small so it's just for company use ??????? Are you kidding? I was told totakeall my garbage with me. I did not And the last complaint in my agreement saysifrent is going up there's thirty day notice.never got it. Since I've had this locker,since Jan or Feb of this year it went from 144 to 160 something. No notices and for what? The services haven't improved at all. Won't change me back to this location and may look at different co.panies for future needs.

I didn't realize I hadn't selected insurance so I had to just deal with it. Nothing was destroyed, more droppings and urine than any damage. I expected better since it was a climate controlled unit. I had to discard of some things and thoroughly disinfect everything else. I am content with everything else with this unit, location and facilities were great besides the mice.

It wasn’t. They had to walk back to the store and ask again. Then they have them a lock but they couldn’t open it. So they asked if they could cut the plastic to get the lock out. The service could have been better. My clients were t impressed.
