The reservation process over the phone initially was not simple. They then texted me with a pickup location of over an hour from my home (extraordinary inconvenient). On pickup, truck was two quarts under acceptable levels (oil), had to add 2 quarts. Also, gave truck to us with 3/8th a tank of gas. Really would have appreciated a full tank so we could easily travel with full or above half at least, especially while traveling in winter. The truck was not equipped with cruise control either...really disappointing on a trip over 1,000 miles. Also, upon booking they said I would have an extra 1 day and 40 miles, but this was not able to be reflected on the contract. Staff promised me that this was on in the computer, but upon turning the truck over at the drop off location, it was not found.

There was a computer problem with the UHaul site so bad that the employee offered the laptop across the counter so that my brother could fix it. The place was way understaffed; the employee had to stop several times to help several customers, and it all took a long time. Also, it was not incredibly obvious where the UHaul office was, and the employee did not offer to help unhitch the trailer. She was friendly, though

They were an hour late for me getting the truck. I was guaranteed 9:00. I was even in there the day before to make sure all was in order. When the guy arrived I smelled alcohol on his breath and he didn't know what he was doing. Missing the appliance dolly that I paid for also. U-Haul at a liquor store = bad idea. The truck I picked up had only 3/4 tank of gas so I took a picture of it and that's how I left it. When I dropped the truck off they said it should have been full, so that means this location didn't even check the truck.
