I reserved a counter pickup, when I showed the dealer wasn’t there. They never showed up, they didn’t return calls or texts despite me having issues getting the lock open. It took over an hour for me to get the lock open using U-Haul support, where I was transferred 4x to different reps. When I finally got the key, I opened the vehicle to discover the appliance dolly and pads I rented were not in it. So I then I had waste extra time AND money driving additional miles to another dealer to pick those up. Meanwhile I paid for labor that was wasted because the help I hired couldn’t work for the first two hours while I was stuck trying to get the truck. It was awful, expensive, and stressful. Would not recommend.

I chose the option to pick up at the business counter at 8am. The place was closed and nobody answered or returned my call. The truck had a quarter tank of gas in it when i got in. My trip was a total of 12 miles and i was charged $30 for gas. I ordered 12 furniture blankets and a furniture dolly, they were not in there. I was told to pick up the blankets and dolly at different location, they didn't have a dolly. The customer service lady told me I would receive a discount for my troubles, never received it. For a 12 mile round trip, a $7 dolly i never received, plus running halfway across hot springs in my own truck to pick up blankets, I was charged $181. I feel robbed.

ROGER BThanks to uhauls customer service I got home safely. The first uhauls location, no one showed up. Customer service switch my reservation to the next closest dealer with the equipment I needed.
Scott MThe location management refuses to be helpful. I rented 2 dollies, but they were not in the truck. I had to go buy my own. But they're still charging me for the dollies they did not provide. I've left several messages, but they will not call me back. I was never rude, I don't know why they will not help.
