When I made my reservations I asked for a dozen furniture pads for $10. When got to the the place they didn't have any pads and suggested I go to the the Uhaul rental place several miles away. I stopped by the premises 2 days before my pick up date to make sure everything was in order, during business hours and no one was there. The store next door said that if they're not busy they just close down for a while and return later. No sign, nothing. When I returned my truck all the gates were locked again, so I called the # the guy gave me and I told him I was there to drop off the truck but is was all locked up. He said someone was there. So I had to honk my horn to get their attention. When I visited the place I was very surprised U-Haul had such a place as one of their distributors. On top of this, I feel like I was totally ripped off. First, I received the truck with 1/4 tank of gas. I only drove it 24 miles and I was charged $23 for gas AND $30 fee to fill it up, $53!!! This was supposed to be one of your $19.95/day trucks. My total bill for the truck and a dolly (not an appliance one) was $112.46!! For a 19.95/day truck rental. I picked it up a little after 10:00am and returned it around 4:30 or 5:00pm and only drove it for 24 miles. I'm sorry but I don't have a better word to use than "rip-off".

My reservation was scheduled for 8:00 a.m on Sunday. He didn't open until 9:00a.m. My day was very packed and this made me late. He was very polite and said UHAUL should NOT have scheduled 8:00 a.m. because he's not always there at that time. I feel I should recieve some type of accomodation for my inconvenience.
