Check the price quote, before signing paper,"I got different prices charged for the same van,1 was 74$ Instead of $19.99. Not fair.

Excellent customer service and seriously cool management!

I dont have internet service so if one of the guys could hand or send me a reciept when I turn in the truck? They also did not have my reservation the morning that I went in to pick up the truck!

I was charged for gas after already refilling prior to dropping off van. Drive 28 miles and refueled 2 gallons before dropping off equipment. Did not take pix of pas gauge for proof but will next time. I realize the charge was only $6.75 but still feel gas charge unnecessary

Better hours would be good. However, I appreciate the guy working there calling me to warn me that they would be closing soon and that I needed to come pick up the trailer. That was very helpful. Overall a positive experience.

The Vehicle had a check engine light that came on the first day after I drove it around town a bit. This concerned me as I was traveling 700+ miles, it wasn't blinking so I discarded the worry. Before I picked up the vehicle, and was on the phone and late picking up my vehicle (not at 9 am as scheduled) a worker was rude, and snarky instead of asking if I would like to pick it up later in the day, at 1:30 pm which is what we settled on after he rambled and grumped about maybe somebody's rented it and gone to Las Vegas by now. A general sense of un-helpfulness and self-importance in that particular worker. *sigh* Drop off was much more pleasant with a wonderful attendant who was helpful and kind, Jesse. Thank you.

Our reservation was changed without notice, we had to drive further than we planned to pick up the truck, this costing us more money for mileage.

Alright saying that renting these thing is 20$ is just a flat out lie and it's almost criminal to advertise it like that. With the mileage and gas and lots of other hidden fees it's never, ever going to be 20$. Fuck the company for that kind of bullshit, 20$ became 100$ easily for my 70 mile trip and i had little idea it would that high going in. Fuck me for not researching more, for sure, but fuck you more for shady advertising practices. However, the individual service at my location was perfectly fine, and the truck was fun to drive.

Requested a pick up truck at one location and I was stuck with a box truck which charges more for mileage and is harder to maneuver. Additionally I was sent to a totally different location from where I had requested a pick up. I understand the pickup trucks are scarce especially over a holiday weekend but we should have been charged for the pick up truck mileage rate

Friendly, competent help!

Booked my first choice online. They did not have one close by on that day. System should not allow payment and conformation until they know the vehicle is ready. Dropped by in person . They were great. Said to never prepay.

Your infrastructure, staff, and self-checkout process is absolutely horrible.

Don't try to sell the insurance when the customer is using a credit card that covers van rentals.

I had tried to book a motorcycle trailer or a trailer capable of transporting a motorcycle. The system sent me to a location 40 miles from my home. I called the support line and a rep helped me find a trailer within my county. She assured me it would have a motorcycle chock. Let me be clear! The motorcycle trailer and the utility trailer with a motorcycle chock are the only acceptable ways to transport a motorcycle. When I arrived to pick up the trailer, it did not have the chock. Unfortunately, I was out of time at this point and simply had to deal with it. The problem as I see it is a lack of motorcycle specific trailers in Santa Cruz County. Why can't we transfer a large amount of these trailers from areas where they encounter snow to Santa Cruz county? I have run in this type of problem with UHaul before. This suggests a shortage and a high demand. Please fix, buy more motorcycle trailers.

The store manager/owner is one of the best people in the vehicle rental sector I've ever encountered. He was professionally engaging while pointing out all issues I needed to understand and he made the whole experience easy going and fun, even while I faced a grueling move to a new apartment. He gave me a boost of enthusiasm. Upon returning the vehicle he made sure I had completed my contract as agreed upon, but with a smile and real understanding of my hard day's work. I give this guy a 5 Star review. Anyone in Santa Cruz who needs a U-Haul...this is the guy to see. Charles Crain

This was unbelievably the worst process you could imagine. First of all my reservation date was incorrect and I tried to update this online when that didn't work I called and spoke with the agent he said don't worry about it just come in we have plenty of trucks. So on my move day I had to walk down to the U-Haul lot only to discover that it had closed. Can you believe that? No one emailed me, no one called me. Nothing. I was totally actually moved about a half a mile further away so I had to walk up there to get my truck. When the guy open up the back of the truck to check it out it was a lot of trash inside so he had to clean that out before I could take it. I will never use U-Haul again. They suck!

The UHaul location at 433 Ocean St has wonderful customer service that goes above and beyond in kindness, professionalism, and assistance! (The location at 908 Ocean St should be placed under different management or closed. They were horrendous to me and others I've talked with. The Regional Manager was professional in investigating and I hope he will have success in changing things there because the talk about UHaul around town due to that one shop is not what any business wants to hear.)

Reserved a truck for Monday morning rental but was told on Monday morning that someone using my name had. in person, supposedly changed the reservation to Wednesday instead. I had never been in the location prior to the rental date so this seemed like a lie.

I was surprised that I was charged for 4gal of gas, when I only drove the truck 12 miles and didn't park it idling ever. How could I have possibly used 4 gallons to go 12 miles? It's there on the invoice. It makes no sense. The experience at the location was unprofessional. It normally wouldn't even bother me, except that I got fleeced for the price of gas I didn't use, so that's why I'm deciding to say something about the overall experience, which was also poor.

Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. Very accommodating

The truck was in horrible condition. It should be replaced at the location. The worst truck I have ever rented from your company.
