The location where we had reserved the truck did not have it. Nobody alerted us to this problem. We were able to locate a truck at another location, Holiday Smog, who were very helpful. We rate them above average, but rate the original location in Soquel as POOR. The original location cost us time, some driving around and frustration. U-Haul should do a better job of communicating with the custoomer in advance if reserved equipment is not going to be available.

Great service, would rent from Holiday Smog again and for sure!

The truck was dirty, the facility was dirty and messy and the staff were not very friendly.

your reservation system works great, it is very swift, accurate, and that helps if one place don't have what you need they reserve the next location down the street or even next town if they have it and the system tells them that, that locks you in, do nothing, great thanks

I found it quite odd that no receipt was offered to prove I had indeed returned the truck. It was just "drop the keys on the desk".

Very professional Great customer service !!!!

One of the guys working there was pretty rude- must have been having a bad day.

It was closed on a Saturday afternoon. We dropped the truck, but it would be better (more reassuring) if the place had been open.

it was not the location I booked, neither the size of the truck, overall I am not satisfy with your service.

Need NO improvement! Kris is awesome and helpful and so friendly! Everything went smoothly. The truck was BETTER than I thought it would be!!! Excellent experience and absolutely no problems! Don't change!

They had a truck for me when I called this morning without a reservation. They made the whole process so easy and my move went really smoothly. Thank You!

I was informed less than 18 hours before pickup that this would be the location. It was several miles from the location per my confirmed reservation.

Have the truck maintained and checked out more frequently, I heard a loud metal clunky noise from front axle every bump and crack in the road taken at speed

The van was easy to drive and held a lot!

Vehicle was not there when I showed up. They had to call around to see where the vehicle was. Then I had to drive to the other side of town. Set me back a hour and s half on my move

I've been overcharged for over 150 miles on a 40 mile trip. You can improve the next customer experience by having your mileage documented properly. Don't charge $320 dollars for a move under $100. Your franchise workers need to be more aware of mileage on their trucks. I've rented from uhaul for 20 years many times. I'm going to Penske from here on out

When I rented there truck I told the woman I would drive about 2o miles. She told me to put a gallon of gas in and it would be OK. I put $5.00 of gas in the truck before I returned it. That should have been enough to cover the 22.8 miles I drove. Why was I being charged $23.85 for gas? When I returned my vehicle I tired to address this, showing you the recipe and calculating the milage. I was told not to worry. Now I am wasting may time trying to get my money back.

Although the vehicle itself was great, rental was easy, check-out was a little rough. It was clear that the guy at the counter was wearing many hats and juggling a lot at the time we were there, the lack of eye contact and the constant cussing and F bombs in front of my son were a little much.

The new after-hours rental process is cool, but is an exercise in frustation. The website tells me I have to use the mobile app to pick up the truck, but the photo part of the app does NOT WORK on a Samsung S4 or a Samsung S7 Edge. I called the rental number, and they walked me through logging in via the website on my phone browser, but by that time the 15 minute rental window (which seems really short!) was up, so they had to bump my rental up half an hour. Then when I went to finish up the truck pickup process on the website, it said I was renting for 2 rental periods at double the cost. I didn't end up getting charged double, but your system needs some serious improvement.
