I placed a reservation for a van his location did not have (due to a late return) but they were happy to accomodate me with a truck, albeit at a higher cost. I am unhappy about this, but I understand such situations are out of anyone's control.

The pick up location was changed without notifying me. I waited until 9:15 at 433 Ocean St and no one showed up.

Truck box floor dirty. Cab was smelly.

All went quickly and smoothly. Accommodating.

Nice job and prompt

I had a reservation a week in advance and they couldn’t get my 15’ truck... they sent me to 3 different locations and nothing.... U-Haul sucks... the lady at this U-Haul place was great it’s the main office of U-Haul that is the problem... they have no clue of where there trucks are... really unprofessional.... step it up or stop doing people dirty.... U-Haul sucks...

I never got a confirmation from u-haul explaining which location in Santa Cruz had the truck I was renting. I had no idea the truck was at the Cycle Imagery location until 30 before they closed at 11 AM on Sunday morning!. Apparently U-Haul corporate was supposed to call me and tell me the truck pick up location but I never got a call. I started trying to find out where the truck was at 8:30 on Sunday morning. Left a message at 4 u-haul locations, got a call back from 2 but not from Cycle Imagery. So, it was a mad scramble to find the truck but once I found out where to pick it up, things went smooth after that.

Although hard to navigate to using google maps, friendly staff.

Would recommend with a precaution. The service is friendly and helpful. However, at their request, I returned the truck after hours to accommodate an event that would preclude returning it on time. Then they reported I returned it the next day. Oh, well, at least they didn't ding me for the extra day I didn't have it.

Cost of dolly was more than the cost of the trailer. That's not right

I originally scheduled a pickup at the 433 Ocean Avenue, CA 95060 Santa Cruz @2:00pm, to save time I did an online checking. When I came to pick up the vehicle the location was closed with a sign on the door saying returning at 2:30pm! I came back around 3:30pm the location was still closed. I called the UHaul reservation center to learn that I had to go to another location to pick up the truck. This was a huge waste of my time and real poor customer experience. The Ocean street location is unreliable and has a poor customer service

Incomplete information was given over the phone, directions to the location were wrong and confusing, I was told that what I had arranged was not available for a one way trip and when I said I’d been dropped off I was told to call my friend to have her come back to get me. After confusion, the vendor realized she did have vehicle for me and it was a 15 footer for over $300 that I hadn’t planned on. She gave me no operating instructions, the windshield was filthy, the woman was rude when I asked her pull out the loading ramp to see how it worked and said she wasn’t going to do it. I had no confidence in the 200 mile trip in the truck.

The person renting out the Uhaul did not do a walk around with us and because we didn't know the protocol and didn't notice the damage, we ended up driving a Uhaul with damage 500+ miles and were assumed responsible for this damage even though we were not.

i was confirmed drop off at a different location- took an hour to ick up due to this.

Location hard to find. Located behind other businesses and not well marked. Might make notation that it is located behind these other businesses (I forget name of these shops). It is also located by highway overpass. Otherwise, it was fine for drop off.

This location should be careful with people trying to go through the trucks. A little hidden and sketchy. Looked like someone had already gone through the back of one of the trucks.

Everything worked out perfect for me

I made a reservation on line for a different location but ended up here due to equipment availability. They did not seem to be able to link up with the reservation and ended up double billing me for the trailer. Point Loma fixed it when I turned in the trailer.

The gentleman who secured my vehicle to the trailer hitch took extra precaution by applying lubricant. Everyone was very personable and professional.

The woman helping us I’m sure was on meth. Not kidding. Couldn’t read computer. Was friendly but not sure what she was doing. The gentleman that helped her was helpful and nice. When I arrived at my destination all my boxes that were in the back were wet from the rain.

Great service
