The truck smelled like someone had been chain smoking in it for years on end. The truck itself was in decent shape. However, when I arrived at the location to pick it up, nobody was there. I called the number for the location and a guy answered. His response was to complete my pickup online almost as if he couldn't be bothered. Finally, he said he'd help but I had to walk through a sketchy empty warehouse and go upstairs to have him complete the transaction. Uhaul's website said only $45-ish was due at pickup but he charged my card $73 that day. It was just not on par with my previous experiences with Uhaul.
