THOMAS PI was charged extra mileage and feel that this was inappropriate based on guidance from the store staff as well as a poor business practice. The inappropriate guidance was to leave the rental location without the car hauler, load the truck, and return to get the car hauler later. This added miles that were not accounted for in my allowance. The poor business practice is basing the mileage allowance on the distance to the unload destination and not including travel to the drop-off location, which was several miles away. These two unfortunate facts lead to an unexpected cost of $20.
