The vehicle I had requested (9' cargo van) was not available when I got to the location. Previous customers hadn't brought it back at the right time so I got stuck with having to rent the 10' truck. This led to SO many issues parking. No parking garages would allow me to park a truck inside and since commercial vehicle parking is not allowed overnight I ended up having to pay a ridiculous amount of money to park in a garage much farther away from what would have been convenient for me.

The guy working at the desk said I could leave the haul there for an hour and then proceeded to charge me 45 dollars for it upon arriving back. No contract, no heads up. Completely feel as though I got taken advantage of and was extremely upset. He also wouldn't let me speak to a manager. Was very disgusted about this.

The location of my pickup was changed with less than 24 hours notice to somewhere that was entirely inconvenient. Rather than a location that was 5 minutes from home, it took me more than 1 hour to get to this pickup location. Unacceptable.

When I was in the middle of the online check in process for my van, another customer walked up with keys to the same van- it had bee assigned to both of us. The agent set me up with another van, but this process delayed me and my start time was not adjusted accordingly. I returned the van in the same if not better condition than I got it in, yet was charged a $25 cleaning fee. I reached out to the location to question this charge, and have yet to hear back from anyone.

The employee at this location, while very kind and seemingly helpful on all other aspects, did not tell us that we needed to sweep out the truck before returning it to the second UHaul location -- the back of the truck was provided to us dirty, but we did not complain as we were only transporting boxes in it, and we were not told that there would be a $25 fee for not returning the truck cleaned. Huge disappointment and money lost for us.

Parking agent was extremely rude during pickup. Took several phone calls from friends or family which made him visibly upset. I watched him throw a pen and a set of car keys across the room. He didn't say a single word to me beyond "sup" and "here" when I got the key. Luckily I rent uhaul all the time so I knew what to do, but I don't know if I'll rent again after this.

Attendant was incredibly slow. No one was there when I first arrived and I waited 15 minutes for attendant to shuffle slowly over to the kiosk. He did not show me the truck, just gave me the key to the wrong truck and pointed me in a direction. After 10 minutes of trying different tricks I went back to him and he very slowly walked around and pointed to the yard for me to find my own truck. Terrible experience!!!!!!!!!

I was very displeased with the service on both the Uhual end and the pick up end. I had booked a self pick up for 9pm, and was never given a notice of any sort regarding the scheduling protocols with self pickup. Uhual never gave me a warning to look into the garage's specific hours myself and the garage NEVER called me on how they did not do self pick up as an option and had a hard close at 8pm. This made for a HUGE inconvenience for my move, as I needed it that night before a trip that weekend. If self pick up is an option, it should not allow for scheduling past certain garage's hours. And I do understand that once someone is under self pick up, it is their responsibility to follow up on specific garage times but that is still absurd to even allow times that aren't even available as an option! Plus I really don't understand why nobody called me after seeing that my pickup time was obviously past their "closed time". Did nobody think how I was supposed to pick up a van after hours? and they didn't do self pick up?

I returned the truck in Brooklyn at the designated address on Saturday 9/2 just as I had been instructed to both on the reservation call and when I had picked up the truck in Providence. Several days later when I checked my account I saw that I had received and extra charge of $85.24. This charge was for added mileage, an added day of service and coverage. I do not believe that I should be incurring any of these charges based on the previous conversations I had with Uhaul employees and the information I was given. Not to mention that I had to go even further out of my way from the location I had originally reserved the truck at, ending up in a completely different state. Please let me know if there is further information you need on my end in order to address these charges. Thank you for looking into this, I appreciate your time.

I had a pickup time at 8am, I guess when the office opened up, and there was already a line of people trying to pickup trucks, so it it took about a half hour before I even got up to the counter. The employees kept having to help valet cars that were parks in their garage for people, which kept taking them away from the U-Haul line. But once I got up to the counter, the process was super quick. He checked me in, gave me my keys, and pointed me to the van. Checking back in was also super easy, just handed him my keys and it was done. Thanks!

There was a mix-up that prevented from being able to complete my self check in, but the attendant did his best to work out the issue as quickly as possible and was very accommodating and understanding about how the delay in my pickup affected my return time. I appreciated his problem-solving abilities!

The guy working at the desk at Sherman was OK. But the location did not have any of equipment I ordered except for the truck. Also seemed a bit understaffed, since he has to be at the desk and move trucks around for parking at the same time - and the desk is about 25 yards down a ramp from the lot...

I don't why they charged me . More than 59.77 dollars the mistake was there's. I feel robed i been using u guys many times and its the first inconvenience I've had. Next time I'll go with another service even if it cost me more. Bery upsetting.

Hello, I am filing an official complaint and expect a refund for the charge. I am also thinking about potentially suing for emotional damages. My experience with your location was so traumatic that I still feel sick. The employees at the location treated me deplorably, yelling and lying. I had 2 male friends with me but otherwise I would have been very scared. I recorded the audio on my phone for proof. The location has a video camera installed as well. I had to call Uhaul to check me out, because they refused to check me out. The Haul representative heard the yelling in the background and apologized and helped me over the phone so I could leave the location. Aside from the terrible treatment, it was also the incompetence of the employees that made the checkout take 45 minutes, which then caused me to miss the cut off at my storage unit where I was heading to retrieve furniture to bring back to my apartment. I lost valuable time yesterday, which I took off work, and am loosing more today because I now have to move the things today. I took photos with time stamps for proof of time. Please inform me how I file an official complaint. Also please inform me of the refund otherwise I will be taking it up with my credit card company later today. Thank you

The Van is not $19.95. I only had the van for 1 hour and was charge $50. Please change the Van price to $30. I was very upset with this service.
