Supply locations with paper contracts because technology is not always reliable. I waited one and a half hours because the location was experiencing technical difficulty, and this is the downside of everything being computerized. The clerk tried several times to sign on with no avail. Being somewhat new to using technology myself it was difficult to complete my reservation through an email and app on my phone. After several calls for assistance I continued to experience difficulty and a 90 minute delay. The clerk was able to phone for assistance and that was the only way my rental was completed. Giving locations the option to use paper contracts during these times will esse frustration for workers and customers. This delay to my entire day was not a high point in my experience with your company.

No one was there, despite the fact that I arrived well during open hours, there were no instructions when I got there, and it was difficult to figure out what was supposed to happen. I ended up parking the truck outside and using the uhaul app to return the equipment. Eventually someone did contact me the next day and told me they couldn't find the key, which was in the box along with my contract. They repeatedly told me it wasnt in the box, and then ultimately stopped contact and I was unable to reach them, I assume they found it, but quite a frustrating system.

I was originally confirmed a different location much closer (45 minutes) to where I needed it (and had requested). With less than 24 hours notice my location was changed to this. I was flying in from out of town and this probably cost me an additional 1.5 hours which I really didn't have. Very disappointed.

I rent uhaul fairly frequently. This is my favorite place to pick it up. They are super nice and helpful. Though the new drop off/return online process of taking photos with my phone was rather unwelcome.

The first location I went to has an address listed wrong on google maps (it was far away). The second location didn’t have vans available, so they booked me a van at this third location. When I arrived, no employees were present for over an hour. I called the corporate number to figure out what was going on/ should I go to another location. They had no idea. They told me I’d get a $50 credit on my account for this poor experience, and that it would be notated in my account. When I returned the van, they charged me $59.25. I explained that corporate customer service had informed me I had a $50.00 credit, and that it should be documented in my account. They said it wasn’t documented anywhere, and that I’d have to pay the full amount and call them for a reimbursement instead. It’s been almost two weeks, and I haven’t received the $50.00 credit I was assured by corporate. Now I’ve been waiting on the phone for a half hour to speak to a customer service rep. Not to mention, when I returned the van, the employees (multiple people) were aggressively yelling at me because I pulled the van in forward, and they wanted it reversed into the parking lot. This was (and continues to be) a horrible experience. Will never use UHaul again, and will recommend my friends don’t either.

DISGRACED AT THIS SERVICE .Hello, I am utterly disappointed and disillusioned by your service. This is the second experience I have had with Uhaul and it is definitely the last. I used your service back on 7/31/2018 I had a cargo booked and “GUARANTEED”. I arrived to pick up my truck to move my whole apartment. The man on-site was utterly useless and told me he doesn’t work for Uhaul yet he is behind a counter that has a Uhaul sign hanging over his head and is working behind a desk that says U-Haul. I contacted support and they told me they did not have the vehicle I had booked available and gave me a new one. The vehicle they gave me was in a whole other location. I arrived at the second location after spending 20$ on an Uber and the vehicle wasn’t at that location it was back at the original spot. I called again and they insisted that I would not pay for my rental and I would be reimbursed. This was not the case and I got charged $43.00. I never followed up as I thought maybe the credit would be applied to my second use of U-haul. I was wrong .The bill is attached below. As proof. My second experience was this Monday. Everything was fine until I got charged twice!???? A total of $129.00 charged to my account. One transaction is $66.95 and the second is $62.05. Explain this to me?? I only had the van for the two hours I signed up for. I demand full refunds back into my account as I am utterly disgraced at the professionalism of this company. Otherwise, I will take further action.
