- The process to pick up the car with a phone is terribly slow and require entering a lot of information that could be collected before the rental starts to avoid losing time I paid for (e.g. license pictures, referral numbers...). - The lock box for the key did not work or the provided combination was invalid. This was a long waste of time to get help. The provided 24h help service sounded useless until someone appeared 15-30 minutes later. It was a simple voicemail with no feedback that anyone had/would listen to it quickly. - Poor cell reception made the website return an error during the car return process. After that, it was impossible to get back and finish the process. I had to look around until I found a return lock box and hope I didn't miss any instruction left.

The location was very convenient considering it is close to the 101 freeway easy access. I think the hours should be extended during the summer hours until 6PM due to traffic in the area it can take 10 minutes to drive 1 mile in morning/evening during commute hours. Otherwise rental process was speedy, truck was clean, and staff was very professional. It took less than 3 minutes to pickup and drop off our Uhual truck.

Verify contacts and identification before users get to the vehicle they're renting. I had to spend about half an hour trying to find enough light to take a good picture of my ID card. I had to submit probably 5 or 6 times before it was accepted. I was not alerted that I needed to have contacts before I arrived, so I had to spend my rental time, trying to find contacts who were available to take calls. All of this should happened before I could finalize my vehicle rental. On top of that, every time I redid a picture, I had to hit continue twice, once to save to my profile apparently, and then once more to send to the person verifying my ID. This was extremely confusing before I realized what was going on. The app would not finalize my drop off when I got back. After selecting to use the credit card on file, I was met with a black screen. Attempting to reenter my card information resulted in an error. I was forced to say that I wanted to use another payment method in order to finalize my drop off, and was given no instructions after that as far as what to do with the keys. The van was fine and this self service thing you've got here has a lot of potential, but as of right now, the app is nearly unusable.

The woman who managed the trucks was helpful and friendly. Overall good experience. I'm not sure if we were supposed to get a contract before leaving (we didn't), but it wasn't a big deal -- we got the receipt at the end and there were no surprises.

I rented a truck and I only picked it up 3 blocks away but I returned it because my plans got cancelled. For those 3 blocks, they charged me $27.

Terrible service. Opened late, so I had to wait 30 minutes after my reservation time to leave. Then they overcharged me for missing blankets that I never rented, as well as the utility dolly. Would not return calls about the charges. Dishonest cheating business. Will recommend everyone I know never use this business.

Marshann was so incredibly helpful, professional and kind. I ended up having to use the Uhaul longer (my dad had passed making my move time longer than expected) and she was so understanding and made sure that everything went smoothly. I was rudely harassed by one of your representatives saying my credit card was declining on a follow up charge. They kept insisting it was a problem on my end and threatened to send it to a collection agency. Turns out you guys were trying to use my physical zip code instead of the billing one I provided; not impressed. I didn't even learn this from your representative, I had to go to my credit card company and very nicely ask them to figure out what you were doing wrong. Do better

We picked up our truck on a day when the uhaul computers were down, so it was a little hectic and confusing for your agent. She was very friendly and efficient, but couldn’t do much about the situation. In the fluster, we neglected to check the fuel gauge when we left. It was on 1/4 tank. We returned it at 1/2 as per contract. We did not pick up the 12 packing blankets that we paid for, nor were we reimbursed. Between the two things, fuel and blankets it probably cost us $35.- to $40.- . We didn’t realize the icon lit on ignition meant the truck was geared for towing until down the road quite a ways. That may have effected fuel use and? The truck hadn’t been thoroughly swept before we picked it up. Other than that all was good. Very friendly service. Easy to find.
