When we dropped off the truck, we were charged a second time for the items that we never received in the first place. (See pick up review.) When I called the location for a refund, I was told that I needed to contact Uhaul's 800 number. I've called more than a dozen times now. Customer service agents aren't empowered to actually do anything for customers. They've requested a refund from area/district manager, Eric, which has been completely ignored, despite numerous requests. One agent gave me Eric's contact number. I've left multiple messages with his assistant which have also gone ignored. While Uhaul has been unsuccessful in resolving two seperate over charges (the pickup location eventually resolved the first one), they have been very successful in making it as inconvenient as possible for both customers and customer service employees to right a wrong.

I was directed to drop the trailer off at this location. I don't remember the gentlemen that took care of me but he was personable and knowledgable. I would use this location if I was going to rent a trailer or vehicle.

My problem involves Rental Location did NOT provide and/or email to me the correct bill / invoice for my UHAUL truck rental...as he verbally represented when I returned your truck. Initial 'estimated' bill was based on 100-miles usage and I only used truck for 24-hours & for only 38-miles. Please provide to me an invoice and credit card charge for the final correct amount. Tail light on tow dolly was not secure. It popped out of plastic wheel about an hour after I picked up the equipment while I was driving on I95. This was a dangerous situation and should not have happened. I am disappointed in Uhaul for not assuring the equipment was safe to use. Had I not purchased the insurance I suppose Uhaul would have asked me to fix their equipment.

Rented the trailer due to rain to protect the furniture I purchased. The trailer leaked and the furniture got wet anyway. Really should maintain your trailers better.

Truck was received and marked with the gas level at 9/16ths full. Receipt indicated tank was only 1/2 full which resulted in a $14 surcharge. I seriously doubt that I would have received a $14 credit if the truck were returned 5/8 full. After spending over $1,500 for this rental, I think the add on was uncalled for and I will not recommend U-Hall to any family or friends due to this ridiculous added charge.

My trailer was not there (4x8) as she reserved and got numerous texts and emails that it was ready. They tried to give me a 6x12. UNACCEPTABLE!! The next day I called and a 5x8 was turned in early so I got that one. My clerk on the original reservation date was Greg and he was AWFUL. The clerk that helped me Findaly obtain one (name?) was outstanding.

The location was not the problem. U Haul was the problem. I have never had a more unpleasant experience in all of my life. I reserved a 26ft truck a week before time to pick it up, and they 24 hours before moving time, customer service calls me to say they only have a 20 ft and I would have to pick it up in Laurel Bay. When I reserved, it was for Lady's Island and they told me I "could pick it up at any location where they had the truck", but I preferred to and told them I chose to pick it up there. When I called them about the call I got from customer service, they said, "Oh, well you have to call Laurel Bay for that." I said, I never reserved the truck for Laurel Bay, I reserved it from you!!! I call Laurel bay and the man is nice enough to give me a 20 ft truck and 6 ft trailor, and moved me in front for pick up at 9am the next day. (Also, they told me I couldn't get the truck before 12). My movers were set for 9am, 45 minutes south of pick up location!!! Anyway, I had it all taken care of by myself, and then at 6pm I get a call from Uhaul customer service again saying I had to pick the truck up the next morning at Hilton Head!!!!!!!! I because of this I had to rent ANOTHER 17 ft truck from another location, and have my movers drive 45 minutes southeast to get the truck before coming to move me. Then because of the pick up location, I had to return it one day early because we moved 45 minutes south of the pick up location.!!!! I have never been so unhappy with the services of anyone I have ever done business with. I will never rent a u haul again. Ever.
