KRISTINA KThere was a broken strap in the Uhaul, they Told me don’t worry about it it’s ok I was told when renting. Took a Photograph of damage!!!
FREDDIE ELocation is inside a Thrift Store in a strip mall. I parked the truck next to another 26' truck. Took the key inside and the gentleman on duty barely acknowledged me, he did NOT walk out to the truck or give me any paperwork. Told me he would check it in later. Imagine my suprise to find a $192.00 Missing/damage fee. I called the U-haul number and was told it was probably for missing moving blankets. All 24 were folded and in moms attic. I know that because I put them there and my last action was using a leaf blower to sweep the truck and I blew one off and had to refold it and put it back on one of the stacks of 2. If the rep at the local location would have come out to inspect I could have pointed them out or even call me on the number on the contract. To hit me with a $192.00 charge is unscrupulous at the least.
