Staff was very friendly and helpful but many problems with the uhaul system. Took over an hour to pick up after i pre registered.

Truck cab was not clean when picked up. There was no vehicle walk around inspection prior to leaving the store. I noticed later in the day there was a crack in the windshield. When I first arrived the truck I had reserved through Uhaul.com was scheduled for pick up in a different town. The employees made sure I was able to pick up a truck but there was a delay. I even received a confirmation call from Uhaul after reserving.

I am suggesting that additional grab bars be installed in the truck cab. For example, being short presented a problem for me to be able to enter the cab. I had to use a step stool to get in and the lack of a hand hold toward the rear side of the door made it difficult for me to get into the vehicle. Also, the only way out was to drop to the ground. Doors that open wider would also be beneficial.

The only thing that would make it better would be to have the pads and furniture dolly loaded in the truck. That would speed up the process.

Customer service was extremly rude. Nobody was wanting to help. Not got a single answer from them. They charged me 44 more. And they said I thought you wanted this plan. They didnt even ask me.

This is the second time I have had trouble with reservations out of this location. In May of 2016 I had to drive 45 miles away to get the truck I had reserved weeks earlier. This time I called the retailer that I was picking the truck up at because I got an email noting 11:00 AM pick up when I had requested 9:00 AM. The gentleman I spoke to said to come in at 9:00 AM no worries. When I got there at 9 there was no truck. I had my volunteer help waiting at my house. The attendant said it should be back by 11. I waited until 11 and still no truck. He suggested I call U-Haul direct and see what they could do to get the truck back. The lady was rather rude and said they couldn't help it if a truck wasn't returned on time and all I could do was drive the 45 miles I had the last time to retrieve a truck. She did say they would refund $50 for the reservation being missed. This still has not happened. I understand it is not U-Haul's fault if a truck is not returned, to have it happen twice though is a little more than frustrating. Moving day is always stressful, U-Haul just seems to add to that stress.

The location was a local Ace Hardware store. There was indication that it was a U-Haul Center, except when you entered the store. There was a location, near the back of the store that was visible. I waited in a line for about 10 minutes before it was my turn, only to find out I had to go to the back of the store to return.

I ordered a 20 ft truck and only got a 10 ft truck, next time get the correct truck that was asked for.

The store was busy so it took longer to checkout than I was expecting. I was surprised that I was charged $14 for exceeding my miles. The excess on the miles was due to the fact there was no drop off location at my destination point. The nearest drop off location was in a town over 30 miles away. So not only did I have the inconvenience of my time and effort to drive 30 miles to a dropped off point, but I was charged for going over my miles!

Figure out how to make it easier? to pay with cash for people like me that don't have a debit card or credit card I think it is bullshit that u haft to have a card it took an hour to get one rented and I was late getting my move completed?

The truck was horrible with a bad transmission , it felt like the truck was set up for bad gas mileage. I moved in the rain and the truck leaked and got my belongings wet that were put on the shelf in the back! The truck was not even the size I wanted when I made the reservation! Overall all experience was poor and would not recommend to anyone! I won't be using uhaul again!

The surge brakes on the trailer did not work at all. This is dangerous and could cause a serious accident. The sales people took 1.5hrs to finish the process for renting the trailer. Have no intention of using a uhaul ever again. The trailers are always garbage
