The 10' truck I rented was covered in ice and snow and there was no scraper to clean it. Had to retrieve a bucket of hot water to clear the front window. Side mirrors to dirty to see anything. Not the best effort

The trailer was completely frozen to the ground. all side signals were covered in snow and ice. When we said the tail lights were malfunctioning the representative showed no interest. They took a picture of the hook up and left. No help was offered for hook up. No safety inspection occurred. We found there was broken glass inside the trailer when we opened it up. The lights stopped working due to the trailer plug wires being corroded, this delayed us on the trip as we couldn't go on without taillights. Hindsight, Trailer was neglected and not maintained and allowed off the lot in unsafe conditions.

There was no winter tires on this moving van. I confirmed this with the manager. I got stuck twice in a driveway and need a tractor to push me out of a driveway that should have been no problem IF THE MOVING VAN HAD WINTER TIRES. It is very dangerous traveling in any vehicle during the winter time without winter tires installed. But I must be careful and warn others about UHaul policies not to put winter tires on their moving van. Other than that, the inside and outside of the moving van was dirty. No big deal there, because it's the winter time.

Arrived at 10:57pm to return trailer and they were closed and hours say open to 11pm. Also lights were not properly working on the trailer. Made it for a very long drive home in the dark.

I would never recommend this depot to anyone. He did not offer to help ask how everything was or even check if it was in good condition. We brought it back a day early and he didn't offer to return even $20 nor did he even say thank you. He didn't get me to sign anything just said you'll get an email. Horrible service and would NEVER recommend this place.

The equipment was well maintained but transport trailer had to be cleaned off from snow/salt on the on the wheel platform and had to clean off snow around the running lights.

The truck could of been parked ready to go. Had to back up in a very tight space. Once done it was ok. The back of the truck was dirty and very dusty. Stuff was coated in dust. Was black.

The van was covered in ice and snow so I couldn't see how dirty it was till it melted off. The driver side view mirror was cracked on the bottom which also was covered in ice and snow when I picked it up but I took a pic of it as proof. I ended up needing the uhaul longer then expected and I called the store I got it from everyday to let them know and the last day I got a text and email saying it would be reported stolen if I did not call to say when I would be returning it. Which I already had done in the morning!! So I call and was told to go make a payment immediately or it would be reported stolen because the extra charges for keeping it was declined. But I had made it clear I intended to pay the balance in cash!! So I had to dump all my belongings out of the uhaul and return it right away and now am stuck trying to figure out how to get my stuff to my new place thats still in storage. Our movers bailed on us last minute so we had nobody to help move our stuff which is why it took longer and I explained all that as well. Plus when I picked up the uhaul, the RR tire was low so there was a warning light on and a message telling me to put air in and the store clerk just said if it bothers me to just put air in it!!! Then the Kms had 12 km more then what they put. I mean this was the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul. I cant even believe what I went through and I always rent uhauls.

The pick up was not full of gas, but I filled it when I returned it. The interior was a mess - full of mud. Seats were filthy. garbage from previous renters in the vehicle. Bad. Vehicle had damage.

Server was slow and was unable to complete transaction at location, not the fault of the provider. However my anticipated experience was not achieved, hence the rating.

1) When I called to complete reservation I specifically asked if the pickup trucks were 4x4 and was told yes. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, it was 2x4. I asked if they had any 4x4 and they said no. I asked if any U-Haul pickup trucks in the fleet have 4x4 and they said no. I required 4x4 and it was very difficult to complete my task with 2x4. 2) Vehicle was very dirty. There was what appeared to be ashes from cigarettes all over the passenger seat. The attendant was upset that I indicated this on the mobile pick-up process instead of just letting him know directly; he seemed to be trying to avoid me indicating that the vehicle was dirty on the website. 3) Vehicle was damaged. Driver-side rear quarter panel was damaged but had the X stickers on it which I was told to mean that the location was aware of the damage. The passenger side tail light was also smashed out, which they were not aware of. I'm willing to pay the mileage and CDW but would like to be refunded the $19.95 + HST for the rental itself as it was not what I asked for or was told I'd be receiving and it created much additional headaches without the 4x4.

Staff must ensure vehicle is safe to operate, ie: checking if wipers are missing as this was the case with the van i rented. It was raining and did not know the wiper on the driver side was missing until I turned the wipers on, had to then make an emergency stop to avoid a serious accident. To add insult to injury, i was advised to purchase a wiper blade myself -as if uhaul expect their customers to do this?? I was on a tight schedule so this was just getting ridiculous. Staff at this location were friendly and came to a quick resolution, but all this could have been avoided if the vehicle had been thoroughly inspected beforehand. The interior was not cleaned either, empty water bottles left under the seat and garbage along with a face mask left inside the doors from previous renter. Drink holders were sticky also. This makes me doubt they have covid-19 protocols in place.

I've never paid so much for a vehicle rental before and the truck was so gross it has dust piled up on the dash and that takes awhile for that to happen. Not very pleased. I called this location to book it and they said they didn't have trucks so I called the location on pinewood and she said ya pickup is 521 lakeshore and I was like what I just called and they said they don't have anything and she said they do it all the time and are lazy or something so I don't see why they do that it's a bunch of non sense for nothing.

The Huntsville location where the vehicle was originally booked on September 3rd 2020 did not provide a vehicle as promised on Oct. 3rd and made no effort to find me one. I had to call head office, and one was found 140 km away in North Bay. I have sent an email to 839027 GM detailing the complaint.
