They try to nickel and dime you at this location. I work the street over from this location and I parked it near their store over night. I also still had the keys in my possession. When I returned to the truck in the morning it was gone. Lisa Rossi used her spare keys and rented the truck out to another customer during my rental period. I was unable to complete my move. Lisa also documented less gas then what it was actually in the truck so that she can charge me more money. Save yourself the headache and avoid this location.

When I checked out the 9' van, the gas level was ever so slightly above 5/8ths of a tank. The checkout contract listed it generously at 11/16ths, bank error in rental facilities' error. Not a huge deal to me, but I did take note. I drove the rental for 13 miles. No passengers, less than 50lbs of cargo, no long idling of the engine, no crazy mountains to drive up. I added 1.5 gallons of gas. Even on a very ungenerous gas mileage calculation, this was more gas than I owed. I returned the vehicle with the marker still slightly above 5/8. The location charged me 15.75 for 3 gallons of fuel o.O

First I went online and followed through with express check-out. Then upon arriving they told me they do not do it. However, online they confirmed my pay of $192, then my bill was lower than that!!!! Another issue is that they claimed there was a quarter tank of fuel and I have the time-stamped photo where its EMPTY!!!!!!! I do not appreciated being taken advantage of!!!!!!

i reserved a furniture dolly. there wasn't one for me. you need to keep track of inventory and make reservations real!! eventually, your staff person took in a return and i returned to get it. KEEP TRACK! not the staff's fault! YOUR SYSTEM NEEDS TO CHANGE!

I reserved a 8 ft pickup truck. When I arrived I was told it was not available. I was never notified of this and had to rent a box truck instead. The milage fee was higher and the truck was bigger.

This location is fantastic, I made a mistake on my reservation and they worked hard to find another vehicle that would work for my needs and got me on my way quickly. (When I booked I didn’t realize the 10’ trucks didn’t have ramps) Everyone there was friendly and efficient, I’m very happy with my experience.

The only recommendation would be to sweep out the rentals before the next customer picks it up. Note: Antonio (the person who assisted in hitching up) was very polite and helpful. Buy the gentleman lunch (company expense) every now and again--management recognition goes a long way.

The owner of this location left a very bad taste in my mouth. I rented the truck from Roxie and she was great. But each time I tried to return the truck the office was closed even though it was scheduled to be open (3:30 Sunday, 10am Monday, 10am Tuesday). After two days of frustration, I finally got the owner, Lisa, on the phone. I thought she’d resolve things, but she was rude, unpleasant and told me she wasn’t in the office and to call back later that day. Meanwhile, they were holding my funds, the contract wasn’t closed and so on. My experience with this particular location started out great. Roxie and Antonio who do the weekend rentals were awesome, but this is an independent location, so ultimately the owner can apparently open and close the office whenever she feels like it without notifying people who’ve rented the trucks and has zero commitment to customer service. I give them a big thumbs down! There are too many other locations nearby to rent from. P.S. The truck itself did not sound like it was in good mechanical condition. I'm no mechanic, but I've rented Penske trucks and never felt uncertain about the mechanical maintenance or heard a truck sound like that one.

Horrific experience. I reserved a furniture dolly because I have a bad back, they didn’t have it when I arrived and there was not another available anywhere nearby. Why should I drive half an hour one way when I’m paying for gas and mileage?! I blew my back out and it took me twice as long, staff that day was rude and unhelpful.

They charged me an erroneous $99 gas charge because 1) their rep didn't know how to read a gas gauge and 2) because their billing rep didn't look at the paperwork (which had been corrected after I pointed out the gas gauge error) before charging my credit card. They never at any point told me that when picking up the truck that since I was doing an after hours drop off I would be responsible for any damage that occurred after I'd returned it. Their drop-off is on a public street. Supposedly, there was a large dent on the drivers side of the car when they checked it back in. That was definitely not there when I was in possession of the vehicle. If I had known this I would have either rented a truck from somewhere else with secure after hours drop off or rented on a different day when I could have brought it back during office hours. I have not seen this dent, I was not contact about this dent, I was simply charged. So now my $25 rental for a small furniture pick up 15 miles away has turned into a $326.40 charge. I have used Uhaul successfully many times in the past but this location should be removed from your list of vendors. Just look at their Yelp reviews - very similar to mine. terrible location, dodgy billing practices, misleading information. I am requesting a refund for the supposed dent as well as correction for the erroneous gas charges.

I was taken aback to learn that a second person's contact information was required for me to rent my truck. You have my ID, phone #, and credit card, I cannot imagine why anything more would be needed. And my sweet friend who volunteered to help me got dragged into being "responsible" when she shouldn't have had to be.

Hello, The location was not the issue, E D Coat Inc Rentals staff was wonderful; the issue was U-Haul itself, I had scheduled for a U-Haul rental that was 1.5 miles from where I lived, but in the last minute when I arrived to pick up the U-haul at central storage. I was told they do not have my U-haul and they have no reservation for me and made a rude joke why people think they can just come in here and ask for a U-haul they want. So, I showed the staff the reservation, and it clearly state for a U-haul pickup at this location. She was puzzle and confuse that she had no idea what was going on and why my reservation states the U-haul was scheduled at central storage. Not only was this a bad experience, I had to drive further and rush to the location in heavy traffic so that they won’t give the U-haul to another customer, then U-haul would probably schedule me to pick up a U-haul even further away. This was an extremely frustrating experience with U-haul scheduling, where you cannot change someone’s reservation less than 24 hours. Very unhappy customer.
