Equipment I reserved (furniture dolleys) was not at the location and it was to late to change providers. The location simply said "the website doesn't check what we have in stock before accepting your request". This caused a lot of frustration for my move. Everything was fine at the location - but the website not confirming equipment is even "available" when reserving just feels like a lie.

My last name was written incorrectly. Its Lett .... not Lette. Truck was filthy on the outside. Car wash place was just next door.
The gentleman that I checked in with had difficulty accessing the U-Haul website and was therefore delayed in releasing the equipment to me even though I had completed the required on line check in. He was very courteous and considerate and I understood that this was something beyond his control. I was, however, dismayed when I discovered that the electrical cord for the trailer lights was so short that it didn't even reach the ball on the tongue of the trailer. This required a special trip to a nearby hardware store to purchase an extension so that I could safely operate the trailer. I was informed that the individual that had rented the trailer the previous day had experienced the same issue and had also had to purchase the extension cord. I would have expected that U-Haul would have realized that their equipment is unsafe in the state that they are renting it and that they would have taken the appropriate actions to remedy the situation when it was first realized. Instead it appears that the company has chosen to ignore the safety issue that their clients face when renting this piece of equipment.

At first it was unclear that I needed go inside Hasty Market for the keys, but once we got them everything went smoothly!
The online app is very glitchy, gave me 2 pick up locations on same order, not clear that one was my preferred pick up but 2nd one was my actual pick up... email should be more clear. Also stated I would be called to confirm before certain date, I never got a call. App is terrible, but in person service good.
I have sent an email to Service@Uhaul.com, I expect to hear back shortly. This was the worst move entirely because of Uhaul services at this location and Uhaul.
The truck had obviously not been sanitized between uses. I think sanitization of high traffic surfaces (headrest, handles, steering wheel, radio etc) should be mandatory during the current health crisis.

-specific to this incident -early pick up, agent unable to alter return time to 8:30am -faulty gas gauge: @ start gas at 'F', after 26kms, it went over F and agent would not rebate me. he would not verify my claim and asked me to call UHAUL and complain -closed out Acct on my credit card, despite my request to use INTERAC - have pictures of gas gauge, and reciepts, - please review and consider a form of rebate for the xtra gas - will use contact form to send pictures thank you
have rented several times from the location near my house. I booked a van for this same location and Uhaul rebooked pickup from another location without my consent. I was left a voicemail.....callers voice was muffled, not clear and did not leave a call back number. Showed up for pickup the next morning only to find my truck was at another location 25km away. This caused delay in pickup and I had to pay for extra kms due to the remote location of the pick up.
I don't understand why it cost $28 to fill tank after driving 20 miles! Clearly wasnt fully topped up when I picked up the truck. Not the lessees fault because the gauge indicated full on pick up.
Availability of more sizes at all locations. Stickers for conversations of speed & odometer dials to km ( for younger drivers who only know km vs miles)

Best move out experience. The van is nice and clean. The whole check in and out process was fast.
I believe there were some repetitive questions for the online rental. That was a bit annoying but the questions and forms were very clearly laid out.
The inside of cab was not cleaned and disinfected from previous rental.
The truck arrived almost 1hour late. The external mirror was loose came away when I was driving on a highway.
on the middle of the process the clerk was leaving me to serve his corner store customers which made the process longer and made me missed my pick up appointment resulting in me paying for a van I didn't use.
During this time , i would have expected to find a clean and well maintained truck. The truck was absolutely filthy and needed to be cleaned by myself, as well as fully disinfected, once again the truck was filthy. The check engine light was on the whole time.. I have remted personally several times, as well as my company. This was a horrible experience
Help customers based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Don't help a bunch of other customers coming in for purchases from hasty mart who have arrived after a u-haul customer while making the uhaul customer wait.
