No one in the store. Did not know where personnel was. Heard a voice saying over here, but didn't know where the voice was coming from. She finally stepped out. She continued to work on other things, so I didn't know if she was attending to me or not. Then she just left me standing outside. I finally had to go find her again to see what needed to be done next. She said I had to unload my car off the auto transport. I told her it was loaded for me in TN, so I needed help getting it off the trailer. Finally she went under the auto to take chains off. After telling me to take it apart myself, I started to put the wheels down to on the hinge between the truck and trailer and she said no don't do that. It was confusing to be told to unload it myself and then not knowing what to do, then having her disappear without communicating what needed to be done. Both pick up and drop off could have been handled much more professionally than the experiences I had.

have more people working.... I was overcharged because only one person was working and she was super busy. I have never had this issue. why would you only have one person working on a Sunday at 1;30....I should not have to pay more because she was so overworked.

The equipment they had was clean/well maintained. But I was expecting cruise control, power windows, and most importantly a ramp into to truck's storage area. The staff that helped me were knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. But I didn't come to the location for them. I came for the truck, and the truck was not at all what I expected based on many other rentals at this location and others. Their lot was full, but I think entry level is a U-haul philosophy since all the trucks like the one I rented were the same. Very disappointed....That is not the staff's fault. It is U-Haul's.

This U-Haul did a great job at making sure I had everything I needed for move and understood the costs. One thing I did find odd is that it costs more to take the truck back to a different location than to the same location. Even though the move is in the same state it would have been more convenient for us to take it back to a U-Haul closer to our new place.

The dolly was not useable it needed oiled or something the wheels didnt want to turn and when they did it made a horrible high pitches noise the ash tray in the truck was full of ashes it smelled of smoke in the whole truck but the people that worked there where very friendly

Lower the cost for customers that rent every week

Create an express return process. Please read my renting experience and see what can be done to get "me in and out" of your store. I am a returning customer. Renting from this specific location for my company for at least 4 previous times. I love renting from this u haul in Parma Heights. I called to rent a vehicle for the next day. Mark (I believe the manager) took my call and took my credentials. As expected, on time I picked up my u haul. My truck ran well and I was able to get our displays to the Home and Garden Show. During my rental sale request I was asked to give my estimated mile usage and was "held" on my credit card. I returned my vehicle with less than Guessed milage usage. During the return of my vehicle the staff at desk was busy doing all things including taking care of a walk in customer for purchase of a rental truck. I am tired from moving and want to leave and go home. The guy behind the counter gets up to check my truck credentials and levels. I see my total, have the invoice emailed. (Nice move Uhaul no paper receipt i don't want anyways). I have GPS on my work trucks. It saves our ass. We can see when and where our trucks are. Who is speeding or roughing our trucks gas pedal. It gives us a grade of the truck usage A+ to F. Why not LoJack your trucks. Install a button that the user presses in the truck cab. The signal tells the renting company the truck is done and on its way back. BTW the GPS tells me our fuel level. A signal sent back to headquarters tells the u haul the truck is coming and if the tank needs fuel. Hook it up to impact sensors on the truck quarter panels and box of truck. Your renters bang cubs and hit yard fences. Hmm. Diagnostics coming before the truck arrives. Kinda like a hospital e.r. knows the patient before he arrives via ambulance. Millions of dollars saved for you. And a customer that gets out of the store instead of angry because the dude behind the counter is spending 10 minutes trying to sign up a renter.

I think I higher rental rate with low cost miles would be better. I paid 19.95 with.79 cent a mile I think it would be better to pay 40.00 for a 10 foot truck with .20 cents a mile or lower. Or rent by the hour with no mileage fee for quick moves.
