This location does not allow after hours drop off even thought the email I received from U-Haul gave me instructions what to do if I dropped it off after hours. It was a huge inconvenience to not be able to do this.

Poor customer service truck that I rented driver side mirror missing picked up the truck after our win next morning to let them know that truck is not safe to drive due to the driver mirror missing the response was I cannot help you I cannot put you in a different truck so I had no choice I end up driving the truck from Cleveland to Dearborn Michigan with no Side mirror.I will never use them again auto command anybody

Why will UHAUL not rent me a 20 Foot truck? i needed a 20 foot truck and could only get a 17 foot truck. What is the big deal about 20 foot trucks ????? Also, when I really needed a truck to rent, any truck, on 7-28-2017, I could not get even 1 truck for an hour. What business are you in again ??? You have a very odd business model indeed ? Suggestion: When you have A LOT of customers walking in your door to rent trucks, HAVE TRUCKS AVAilABLE or refer your customer to another location that does have a truck. DONT TURN THEM AWAY !?!?

I was mis-quoted and overcharged by 3 times my quoted rate! I was told that if I didn't pay the entire amount, I wouldn't be able to rent the truck. I was stuck since I had to move my son, and had no other choice but to be overbilled. I filed a complaint online on 7-31-17 and no one has gotten back to me yet.

Person who checked me in was very nice. I was informed upon returning the trailer that I would be charged twice the contracted amount. Multiple phone calls provided no significant assistance. Was assured I would be called on Thurdsay (7/27) and on (7/28) and have yet to hear from anyone. No one could explain why I would be charged twice; however, no one could remove the charge. Have rented from this location yearly for the past 5 years without problem but cannot understand the lack of knowledge by staff on to why I was being charged for two rental periods. I would love an explanation, send to daviddrabik@sbcglobal.net because I am not waiting for any more phone calls.

It's a minor thing, but we weren't told that the moving pads needed to be folded. I was charged $5/pad after dropping the truck off which was very surprising. I called the drop off location and they told me why I incurred the charge. Then I had to call the main cust. support number to get the charge reversed since, if I had the knowledge I totally would have returned them as desired.

The lady was angry or mad about something during pick up. She may not be a morning person. BUT her mood was better during drop off but still below average. She only looked pleasant when she gave me my car keys which l forgot in the van. I wouldn't want to pick up if she is working.

My only real complaint with this experience was the confusion over rates and times. For some reason the daily rate was indicated (not true) to be for an "estimated" four hours. Then the milage rate was not explained thoroughly, concluding with a day's end comment, "You know, if you'd driven just 15 more miles, you'd have saved nearly 30 dollars." And here was I, like a fool, trying my best to keep my milage down. Good service generally, but clearly the right hand didn't know that it had a left hand let alone what it was doing.

I was informed I would receive my money immediately after I returned the van now I'm being told I have to wait 7-10 business days for money I don't have. The lady working when I was paying the hold informed me it did not matter if I did debit or credit now my account is overdrafted and I have no way of making it up I am now gonna get hit with fees because I was misinformed by your worker. I will never use this location ever again I understand you probably don't care because others will but you all have ruined my next few weeks and there's nothing that will be done I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism and I was told there are no other options now because I used debit which is completely unacceptable

Jacob was truly an earnest person and went as above and beyond as any employee I've encountered anywhere, ever. When I arrived with a one-way drop-off, he was both delighted and relieved to see me. It was like visiting an old friend with the way I was greeted and updated on his efforts to remedy that I drove to the location. He apologized for my trouble and even said he was glad I made it that day to fix my rental so he could take care of things. When Jacob told me he'd been calling around to the other location and even placing a phone call to "Traffic" I smiled because I knew yet another person at U-Haul was taking care of me in a crisis with reservations and straightening things out. How appropriate when I returned to the location,another employee, Ashton, concurred that Jacob is an excellent employee and person. Good people deserve to be commended and when I asked how to: Ashton told me this survey was the opportunity to do just that. If management could relay this message to him: thank you Jacob.
