I rented the trailer by internet from Kentucky. However, when my brother went to pick it up (UT) they made him pay even though I have already given my credit card information and I was under the impression the payment was settled. Made things awkward for me. I tried to call and have them reverse the charge to his account and was told it was too late.

I'm sure that the location was unaware, but the unit had a very strong smell of gasoline as if someone had spilled some in the trailer. Great service and very friendly.

The employee I talked with when I picked up the truck didn’t appear to know what was going on. At first he told me I couldn’t take the truck I had reserved the prior week. When I said okay and started to leave, he stopped me. It took a long time to get everything in order. I was told there would be a discount on $/mile because I was traveling quite a distance- then was told no there wouldn’t be. It wasn’t a good experience; I will rent from another company the next time.

Price was more than the rental confirmation price. The guy literally had rolled out of bed (looked, sounded, acted) to help us. Did not explain anything including that we only had a certain amount of miles and we had to pay extra when we dropped it off. This was the 2nd location as we had originally reserved one in American Fork, received a confirmation and it was closed when we arrived. No discount or credit was offered even after the that and the mistake was U-Haul’s.

Do not have computer changes during office hours he had an awful time getting our reservations and finishing up the work On the new system. I had to end up filling out paper copies. Waiting one hour to get my truck. The dealer was excellent and worked really hard to help rectify the situation. Very friendly did all he could do.

It took a long time to get our rental because the U-Haul Point of Sale website kept crashing in the middle of my registration. After 20 minutes of trying, I ended up signing a blank piece of paper for my contract. You really need to scale up your servers on Saturday when most people rent. Shame on U-Haul. You also need to do a better job remembering where a person is at in the process when the website goes down, storing the progress in cookies so that we don't see the same initial dialogs time after time.

The U-Haul employees were incompetent and high on marijuana. The office reeked of weed. The U-Haul system was not working and the employees forced me to use my own device to redo my reservation that was already set. The latch on the back of the truck door was iced over and wouldn't open. The U-Haul employee made me chip at the ice myself and force the door open. Then, when I returned the truck, they tried to charge me for insurance that I knowingly excluded on my reservation. I was disgusted by the service I received. I will never go back to this location. I would never recommend it to anyone else. Terrible experience.

I was called the next day by uhaul saying I hadn't returned the truck when I had. Marking it as late. My overall experience was a hassle because the day before I tried calling them 5 times throughout the day with no answer

Moved from SLC to Vegas today! The Utah location wouldn’t answer their phone and their answering machine was full but once I got there to pick up the truck I saw why. Two dudes who were nice and completely capable of renting U-Hauls run their tiny business but don’t give a F*** about things like not wearing your pajamas to work (one guy) and thinking making jokes about the Vegas shooting is funny (the other guy)...why would they check their messages, delete them, and leave room for new customers to leave a message when they’re not available to answer the phone? Nah. It’s cool. They need a massive overhaul in how to properly run a business but they get the job done. The truck was awesome, my husband drove it for 6 hours and it was fine. Dropping it off in Vegas was super easy. Super professional. U-Haul should probably send a business analyst to each of the businesses that represent them. Vegas would get an A in professionalism and business process. SLC would get a C only because they did their jobs once we got there. Professionalism is an F.

Help told me the store was closed but the gate to the yard was open for me to even enter. He was in a car with another person and just shouted at me to drop the key in the drop box. I had driven hundreds of miles and the text message told me to drop the truck off there, so there was no way I was going anywhere else after a long day of driving and offloading. Maybe the worker could work on some personal skills. I apologize that I do not have a name.
