Cell service is spotty at best at this drop off facility - my sister uses AT&T and I have Sprint and neither of us could access the internet to complete the drop off process. When I called the next day to explain why we couldn't complete - I was directed to leave a voicemail. I called back later and received voicemail again. Im still trying to get the additional $20 removed from my charge.

As mentioned, my system reservation was to drop off in Maryland for some reason. The individual was very helpful with my issue with this reservation being wrong and incorrect when re-entered by the pick-up location. He was able to get the fee waived for the wrong drop-off location. As mentioned, this wasn't in my thought process because the previous individual said I could drop it off anywhere.


This U-haul is one of the best and most friendly I have used. I will certainly use them again.

Originally had a truck reserved at Shoreline Power Equipment for Saturday morning pickup. When I arrived there at 9 am, there was a sign on the door stating g they were no longer open on weekends. Called Area Storage and they were very accommodating.

My wife, and I, were pulled over by a Florida State Patrol officer (Officer Gonzales) as soon as we entered the State of Florida. Reason: we did not pull into their Florida Agricultural Inspection station. In N.C., I asked the origin U-Haul agent if I was required to stop at any inspection stations. His response was no! The officer issued me a Formal written warning!!! I have an absolutely clean driving record - this warning may effect my insurance rating/rates.I believe that your Company has a legal, as well as a moral obligation, to inform your customers of their requirement to pull into Agricultural Inspection Stations for vehicle contents inspection.This vehicle content inspection requirement also pertains to the State of California! I am very dissatisfied with your company and would like to be contacted by your VP of Regulatory Compliance. I

My experience with booking the UHAUL was excellent. However, returning the UHAUL was not; as employee didn't want to listen to my concern and dangerous situation regarding particular Uhaul i rented. Had an incident occur, while driving that needs to be addressed. The Passenger door to uhaul was not shut and i received no alert on display. However, I could hear that something wasn't correct. I stopped at the rest area, near Coinjock NC, and the passenger door was not not shut. The display also did not show that the driver door was open as well.Again, there was NO image on display to alert that door was opened. Also, just realized that this email address was associated with my reservation and its not an email that I typically utilize anymore. Hope someone reads this and takes it serious. Person who helped me was rude and unhelpful. The inside of the trailer was covered in soot which got all over my furniture. The trailer locking mechanism broke while on the highway which caused the door to fly open and I lost some of the things I had packed in the trailer while driving 55 mph.
