This location is so busy with walk-in traffic it takes extra time just to complete the transaction. One guy knows what he is doing the younger guy does not know what he is doing. I attempted to extend my rental the first day. I could not contact the store using the phone number provided. The number on the contract (503) 208.7638 went to voicemail with no room for more messages. There was no answer to the call, response to a text message, no call back. When I went in to ask the young man working there if I could extend the rental , he claimed there was no charge for extending. I waited about a half an hour for him to attempt to schedule a reservation for the following day. Finally he gave up and asked me to use the app to make the reservation.

The location is very central, but there was no parking, except for a 5 minute space. The van was in pretty good shape overall and met our needs. The seats in the front were stained and worn and smelled like zoo animals had been smoking in the van. While the pickup process wasn't the most convenient, the location was very convenient.

I think I paid for an extra 9 miles of travel. I'm almost positive when I first started the engine, the odometer said 3499. It was notable b/c it was right at that 500 mark, so I thought that was handy to track how far I was driving. The clerk, Jessie (who was totally awesome btw), had me take a photo of the final odometer reading. When I went in to pay, I showed it to him (3542 miles) and he told me the original had been at 3490. We talked through it and he was very kind, but there was no way to confirm or deny that the original was correct. He implied that maybe he hadn't checked it properly or hadn't correctly input the number after the prior rental. I'm a reasonable person, it wasn't anyone's fault necessarily. I could have mis-seen the number, he could have recorded it incorrectly, but regardless - the system is flawed b/c of the fact it's not a certainty. I think I was charged extra. So I'm not super happy about that, but it was otherwise a great experience. Jessie was super awesome and helpful. Location was convenient, and no problems with the van itself.

The only issue I had was that I couldn't get out of the DoubleTree parking garage. The cashiers at Union Station Deli didn't tell me what to do to lift the gate. So there ended up being a long line behind me of angry people as I called the parking garage company for help. Other than that, I had no issues.

The process took too long/was pretty inconvenient. It took about 30 minutes to actually get the contract and the car. Then, the car was located about a block away on top of a parking garage. Plus, they charged extra than what I was told I would be charged in the online reservation. Next time, I'd rather just go straight to a dealer if it means it will lessen the hassle.

I had reserved a loading dolly, and the location didn't have dollies even though online it did. The location closed early so I had to drop off the vehicle and then come down the next day to drop off the key. I also had a $6.50 charge charged to my account that I wasn't expecting.

They vendor did not know how to submit a request to drop my rental in my new neighborhood. Therefore, I was charged extra for the mileage used to return to the pickup location. This should rectified.

Sunday was great at this location because street parking is free right in front! Otherwise, you have to park at a hotel around the corner

I was charged for gas when I brought the vehicle back and the gas line was the same as initially indicated on my checkout slip. I was also unable to return the vehicle during business hours because they closed before my usage time was up. They also said that I drove 40 miles, which I find highly unlikely. It should have been closer to 25 miles
