Don't weld the chain on the trailers so the tailgate cannot be used as a loading ramp. I specifically asked if the tailgate folded all the way to the ground for loading up 6' tool box with wheels and was told yes. I drove all the way to my destination and found this was untrue. The tailgate folded only so it was even with the trailer bottom and we needed five guys to physically lift the box into the trailer. I could have easily brought a couple of motorcycle ramps and done the job myself.

I was unable to back up the trailer and unfortunately the woman working that day was not able to either. Luckily I bribed a motorcycle customer to do it. Otherwise it would not have happened.

I was disappointed in the online experience. First you let me order a trailer that wasn't available at my desired location. I received an email saying I would be contacted to let me know where to pick the trailer up from. Well at 5pm of the day I was to have been contacted I sort of became concerned. So I called and was told that those calls don't occur until 6 or 7p. Why don't you state that in you email? Would make life easier. After learning the pick up location I attempted to check in. All went well until I put in my credit card info. After several attempts with two known to be good cards I called again. This time I was told the system didn't really work like it should. Fortunately the person on the phone was kind enough to run the card manually. Then, we get to the location to get the trailer and they don't have the moving blankets I had ordered. I got a refund but that doesn't help protect my furniture. Again, allowed, or worse yet, sent to a place that didn't have what I had ordered. So, besides the trailer being fine the rest of the experience wasn't.

They were very helpful. Also the two times I had to disconnect the car trailer it couldnt be cranked up enough. We had to get people to stand on back of the truck even after the car was off it was very hard to turn and that was with men turning it.

Didn't have the trailer I confirmed at the location I confirmed. Got sent to another facility a mile or so away, and the order now showed a different trailer than I requested. Fortunately, this facility did have the one that I wanted and originally requested.

The four locations I visited over the course of 3.5 hours to pick up a trailer that was not at the location where it had been reserved were very nice and helpful. The fact that the reservation system didn't work and that I was sent to multiple locations by UHaul to find a trailer was ridiculous. Don't make reservation promises if there is no intent to keep them,

She was rude and abrasive and then she lectured me on not having the contract even tho I had the contract number and emails of my confirmation. No one told me that I would need the contract to drop it off. I've NEVER needed the paper contract to drop off. She told me that it was absolutely necessary. Apparently it wasn't because I did the give it to her and I still dropped off the trailer. It's too bad because it was a at a motorcycle shop and I would have given them my business but She's just not nice. I won't use this location again, nor will I buy my moto parts there. I prefer to give my hard earned dollars to people that APPRECIATE my business without attitude and rudeness.

My comment has nothing to do with either location, but Uhaul itself. I paid for a trailer for a one way move about 3 hours from point A to point B. I gladly paid for the convenience of a one-way, despite the higher cost, due to the convenience needed on moving day as well as the 3-hour drive. Everything was great (except half the lights on the trailer not working) until I got a text stating that I would need to return the trailer to Sacramento- not Placerville. Thats almost a third of my way back to Santa Cruz. On moving day. My contract very clearly stated that I could return it in Placerville. When I called customer service, she apologized, explained the dilemma, and passed me off to the supervisor. Essentially, the supervisor told me that 1) it was "my problem" and that I was responsible for returning it to Sacramento despite what the contract said. 2) When I told her that the whole thing lacked integrity, she told me that I could call the local UHaul people in Placerville and hope that they would accept the trailer. I was told to call myself, despite a UHaul contract stating that Placerville was my-drop off. But Uhaul wouldn't help. 3) When I told her that There was no way to get back to Sacramento before the due time (nor should I have to), she told me that I would be charged for the additional day. At no point did Uhaul offer any solution, professionalism, flexibility. I even offered to hold the trailer on private property until a local Uhaul could accept it, or when I could drive an hour to Sacramento. I was being as flexible as possible. She again informed me that I would be charged for every 'late' day and that this was my problem. She was rude, argumentative, intent on 'winning', interrupted me repeatedly, and offered no explanation as to why it was my responsibility to figure this out and that "this wasn't a mistake" and that she didn't know what my problem was. And the sad thing? When I returned the trailer in PLacerville the following day, they said that they had tons of space and had no idea why Uhaul told me I could not drop it off there. Disorganized, sloppy, unethical. I wish I had a transcript of the phone call. At the top of the contract, it clearly stated (in more words) Santa Cruz to PLacerville for $200. But they had no way to honor that, or fix it when it went awry. And they didn't care to either. USE SOMEONE-ANYONE ELSE - FOR YOUR MOVING NEEDS. F- Grade
