Get someone new, the man behind the desk was unpleasant, slow and rude! Took him half and hour of mumbling to himself and griping to get us checked in!



Overall, this was an easy, quick experience. The person at the front desk was friendly and informative, and everything went as planned. The only thing that could be improved would be a better indicator that there was no one at the front desk and when the person would be back.



I was amazed because the rep went over everything with me. We looked over he condition of the vehicle, where any scratches or 'work' paint spots were. He went the extra mile in explaining and going over the paperwork and explaining how they were a vendor and I was very pleased. I had one helluva better experience with this location than the location on Rainier Ave. South.

After a major mess up by Uhaul on line and the scheduling of confirmed pickup time which was not an option for the downtown location I will say, I was extremely upset with Uhaul. Do not tell a person what they need unless they ask. If I ask for equipment, that is what I want, I dont appreciate being, you dont need that. My overall experience sucked because of a miscommunication. Also, I am not a fan of uhaul and likely won't use it again. 19.99 for in town amd around but we charge you for a bunch of other stuff that we dont advertise. So the $20 you advertise turns into over 50 and then on top I get a 2.5 hr window. Worst thing ever. Never again.

The van kept complaining about broken turn signals. It was not a pleasant experience driving with the dashboard complaining about this all the time and not being sure whether my turn signals were working or not. It is only after I saw a reflection of the van thanks I found out they were blinking just fine.

Tire pressure was low, one headlight was out, turn signals made weird noises. Otherwise, the location was great, staff were friendly and very helpful, and this worked out perfectly for my needs - thank you!

To whom this may concern, I will never be using uhaul again. I choose uhaul because you can reserve the truck for the time you needed. This was important because I was picking up furniture from someone on a time crunch. Ordering my truck online was easy. But picking up the truck was the worst experience. The man at the store judged my haircut that was different than my identification. Then when it came time to pay the bill. He added insurance without my permission. I had already opted out of insurance online in my order. After a while of arguing about the fact that I did not need to purchase the $14 insurance. I caved and agreeded to purchase the insurance. Then when I asked where my partner could park my car. He stated there was no parking. However I asked about the spot out front he said "No, we could not park there" parking cost me $7 for the two hours. I will be telling everyone that I was overcharged, miss treated, and harassed for being a woman driving a one of your trucks. Mckinna Krieghoff

Hey Uhaul, you emailed me to rate my experience 5 and a half hours ago, and I deleted the email because I didn't think rating you was worth my time. I guess you decided that meant I had accidentally missed it, as you emailed me again on the same day to rate my experience. I do not appreciate this. I would not otherwise care enough about Uhaul to rate you, but if and when you annoy me with multiple emails after our transaction has already finished (i.e. I have given you money and you have given me promised product), I will not use you anymore. Beyond that, I will let other potential customers know that I was bombarded with junk marketing from you and that others should not even inquire into your services, lest their inboxes be flooded with your marketing crap, too. Next Uhaul marketing email I get will result in a bad Google and Yelp review. Thanks.

The location was tricky to find because of construction closing down many of the nearby oneway streets including the address of the business. I was not given a contract when I checked out nor was I charged for anything until I called the next day when I spoke to a gentleman that could find no record of me actually checking out the truck. Overall poor customer service at best. I've rented many trucks across the country from uhaul and it's competitions and this was the worst experience. I hope it was an off day.

A check off list would be nice I was running late and for got to refill the gas tank and texting maybe better because if your not able to answer your phone you could see the text and text back your place was very helpful I appreciate it

Be open during the stated hours. Upon arrival to return my truck, there was a sign saying they were closed due to "sickness". Assuming there are no issues with my billing, i won't have a problem recommending the store in the future.
