The customer service was great and the transaction was smooth but there was no parking so I had to pay $20 extra just so I can use the U-haul van for 4 hours. I will be using U-haul again but probably not this location.

I usually don't give feedback unless it is absolutely well deserved, and my experience with Seattle Vault Self Storage on Thursday 6/29/17 was truly exceptional. Obviously moving can be stressful for anyone, however Dave made it as smooth and pain free as possible. First off, for some reason my reservation had not been confirmed when I arrived to pick up the uhaul. He was able to work some sort of reservations "magic" and find the perfect truck for me to drive in a timely fashion, while at the same time having to deal with other customers all on his own. I am truly grateful for all his help including his efforts to actually physically help me move into the actual storage unit by ensuring available space at the loading dock. I will definately be back and recommend this location in particular to everyone in need of a moving truck/storage unit.

Was unfairly charged the cleaning fee. I recieved no reason or description as to why i recieved the cleaning fee. The van wad returned in the same condition as rented.

Super friendly staff! We had an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this location. It's worthwhile to set up an account and enter all necessary information ahead of time. The only recommendation for improvement is to sweep out the van between customers.

Rented a van twice in the span of 4 days. Both times the van was ready to go when I got there and the staff was helpful and attentive. I had lost my voice the first time and the man at the counter (thinking I was deaf) initiated conversation in sign language, which I thought was pretty cool even though I couldn't respond. They quickly adapted to me using pen and paper and were very clear and helpful.

When we arrived a few minutes late for our scheduled pick up at 10, no one was there and the door was locked. On the door was a note saying "will be back at 9:45". Clearly, they were not back at 9:45. We had to wait a good 10 or so minutes before someone showed up, and they were not very friendly and didn't even say hello. They got us in and booked, but didn't really say much else or give us any tips. Another thing that we had a slight problem with is the vehicle. It was a HUGE van, definitely not the one pictured when I booked. Because of this, we weren't able to fit it into the parking lot where we were moving out of, and we had to park in the alleyway, which was super inconvenient. All in all, I've had some AWFUL U-Haul experiences in the past, and this one wasn't so much terrible as it was irksome. They (barely) did their job, and we got to move all of our things. Not terrible, but not good either.

The guide to tell you how much gas to put it was incorrect and forced me to go out of my way to get gas twice and fill up the tank too little and then too much. Need a better system

I was a little surprised with the "hidden fees" such as a $25 cleaning fee. The van had noticeable dirt on outside and it was apparent it had not been washed for some time. The back of the van needed cleaning as well. I returned the van in the condition I received it and was surprised to receive an itemized statement with a $25 cleaning fee added. I would like to request a reimbursement for this fee as I did not receive a clean van and do not feel I should have to pay for a cleaning fee when this is not something that is done. Please remember to include rental items. We rented 2 dollies and they were not in the truck. We had to drive back to the store to pick them up, which wasted time and gas.
