Nothing, everything was good.

The truck performed well we had no issues. It was quite hot and not sure what kind of pull u-haul has with God but either ac or cooler weather would have made it a perfect drive!!

I booked my trailer in Kamloops. I got a confirmation email and I got a phone call from U-Haul with the address and the telephone number. The city was not mentioned. it wasn't till I actually read the email hours later that I realized that it was an hour away from Kamloops in another city. it would be way better to tell me right away that I have to drive 2 hours out of my way to get the trailer thank God I read the email the day before I needed it and not the day of.

This was the 2nd vehicle we picked up for this move, and we were very happy with the service. The first truck though, in Summerland BC Canada left us with a very sour taste in our mouths. After driving for 1 1/2 hours to pick up the truck, we got into a truck that was filthy dirty, had not been washed in who knows how long and had an exhaust leak that filled the cab of the truck with exhaust. This truck was not road worthy and should never have been rented out. When we asked at pick up if the truck had been serviced recently, we were told that the oil was checked that morning. That is ridiculous! If you are renting out a vehicle for a long haul, it needs to be safe enough to get to where ever it is supposed to go! That truck was returned the next morning, even though we weren't sure we were going to be able to get another one to move our things. The service we received from Uhaul booking, and the staff at Jordan's Auto Repair were very helpful, but the staff at our local Uhaul in Kelowna BC Canada couldn't do anything for us.

I received a gas bill for $22. I returned the tank just above 1/2 as I was supposed to.

Professional, friendly, courteous. Just nice helpful people. Way to go U-haul!

When we dropped the U-Haul off we told the man about not being able to return our truck to Salmon Arm and he said the lady that booked it in Salmon Arm was wrong we could have.

I had reserved a vehicle in Vernon but was too small. U-haul told me the next size available was in Sorrento (just over an hour drive away each way). After picking it up, we saw two units in Salmon Arm which could've saved us an hour round trip. After arriving in Vernon to load up and set course for our destination (Vancouver), we saw another similar size unit in Winfield, which was only 15-20 minutes away from Vernon. Then saw another unit in Kelowna. Sad to say that this unit in Winfield would have saved us 3 hours and extra gas going to Sorrento and back to Vernon where our original departure was. Then to top it off, both locations in Vernon and Sorrento verbally told me I had over 500 miles, not kilometres. I discussed this to ensure it was in mileage, not kilometres. When I dropped it off, they wanted to surcharge me for over mileage. They told me I had 500 kilometres, not miles. After lengthy discussion, they did credit me back the surcharge. But the inconvenience of driving 3 hours out of way when there was a unit less than 20 minutes away.

While the location and location services were excellent, I would not rent u-haul again unless I were really stuck, as I was this time. U-Haul's per km pricing is almost .25 higher than Budget or Hertz, the daily rate is higher and the "no free km" to start makes the cost of renting the unit almost double any other outlet. The rental outlets are off the beaten track and therefore cost you 35 to 50km just to pick up and return the trucks. For a direct comparison, I recently utilized Budget for a longer distance, my total cost for a 26ft truck was 123.50 plus , $45.00 fuel. On this U-Haul rental the only units offered within a 60km radius was a 15ft truck, which required me to make the delivery in 2 loads. Even with this the overall km were lower than with my previous Budget rental, yet my total cost with U-haul was 190.48, plus $62.00 fuel. Not a good deal

We booked the rental for a small trailer to tow an ATV the price was $24.95. We received a call saying we had to drive 45 min. to a different town to pick up the trailer, but could return it at the original e we had requested. Our rental was fir 24 hours, and after insurance and tax the total cost was $38.45 which we paid by credit card. We returned the trailer 3 hours early, and in perfect condition. The next day I received an invoice from Uhaul stating that my credit card was charged $155...$100 for the rental fee, $20 for insurance plus fees!!! The advertised price for a 5x 9 tow trailer is $24.95!! I've moved a whole house with one of your trucks for less than what you are trying to charge for a trailer! Called customer service, and on hold while they try to figure it out!!! Not impressed or happy at all....feels like a SCAM!!
