The reservation lady (not the rental location) was not fully informed re pick up date....the rental location corrected any misunderstanding.

With regards to how U-Haul can improve: Don't cancel supposedly guarenteed reservations made nearly two weeks in advance with less than 24 hours notice, calling less than 10 minutes prior to closing in the hope that the customer doesn't answer their phone. To be clear, this is a negative review about UHaul, not the rental location.

I first made a reservation a week ago but had to postpone or cancel because I was in the hospital. When I was released, I again called to make a reservation and was charged over $20.00 more than the first reservation at the same pick up and drop off points. I called and was informed that trailer was picked up and returned to the same location in Steamboat Springs,CO. That did not happen and the agent can verify that I was in the hospital. Also, they are personal friends for over 25years and can verify this. Please correct this billing and issue a refund for the first reservation. Please let me know by email asap. Thanks.

The U-haul I reserved wasn't available when I arrived but Larry was very kind and we hooked up a smaller one and I was on my way. He gave me a number to call to get a discount for not having the right trailer.

I scheduled the truck to be picked up at 8am on a Sunday using the Mobil pick up option. I showed up at 9:30 to pick the truck up and it would not let me because I was late, I tried to update the time on the app but it wouldn’t give me the correct option for drop off location so I called and was transferred twice to the mobile team and then waited 20 minutes on hold while it was 20° outside. Finally someone answered and fixed it so I could check in. Then I got to the point of getting the key out of the lockbox and the code I was given did not work, after 10/15 minutes of trying to get the box open I decided to walk down to a restaurant because it was 20° and I was freezing and I knew it would take another 20 minutes for someone to answer... 25 minutes later someone answered and said that was the right code but to try a different one for a different box, she said she wasn’t sure if there would be a key in that one or not, I replied that I had walked down the street because I couldn’t feel my toes and a different key would be to a truck that was not on my reservation. She said oh ya that makes sense. I asked if I could just change my reservation to the following morning because I had already wasted most of the day and that way I could just get the truck from an actual person, she said yes but unfortunately I’d already been charged and the truck was already processed out so she made a note to extend the reservation for an extra day, not that I needed it. I went to pick up the truck the following morning and explained everything and she had to use her key to open the lock box. Everything else was ok though I guess

Severe pinging at 60 mph. Transmission problems. Ave 5 mpg. When received, had 3’ of snow on top of truck. When received, windshield was cracked from far left to far right side.

Truck was not clean but useable, I tried to take pictures but they would not upload for some reason so upon check put I was able to load some. It is the middle of winter so I don't expect the truck to be spotless but I just don't want to get blamed. I used it for about 2 hours with no problems! I always choose this location when renting as they are always nice to work with Kelly Brown

The location was fine.. although it was not the location I had initially requested. I was called and told that I had to drive over an hour to pick up the trailer, and that it wouldn’t be ready until 10 am... this was a HUGE INCONVENIENCE!

Original reservation was made for Craig, CO. Rental was made 2 months in advance. Last minute, pick up location was changed which was a huge inconvenience. Tried to schedule to have pickup location revised to original location but never received a return call/ email until it was too late. Really needed original reservation. Major inconvenience.

The trailer I ordered two weeks in advance was not available. Uhaul called me two days prior to my move to inform me of this. I had to drive an hour and a half out of my way to pick up the equipment. The smaller trailer that I was able to pick up was too small for my needs and I had to leave valuable items behind. This also put me a day off of my moving schedule. When I called in to talk to a service rep, she was rude and snide. I was refused a discount for the inconvenience that Uhaul caused me. The rep I dealt with in person was as real joy though. She was upbeat and pleasant. She helped as much as she could and made that part of my experience enjoyable.

Travel is a day late arriving. This disrupted my relocation and resulted in four picture of Motel reservations play very unhappy with the last three moves using the U-Haul. Call me please. I was told someone would call me the last time there was a serious problem and nobody ever called Sprint customer service is atrocious. I have Day date time and names on record to share with you print that might be helpful correcting the pool service
