Attendant could not find key and was very rude. Searched for the key in a cardboard box and after couldn't find the key, he threw the box to another worker while he used foul language towards her when he became frustrated. We walked outside to drop box and he was upset he couldn't get box unlocked and blamed me. An hour later after searching and tying to find the key I finally was able to leave with Uhaul truck. My time was wasted, almost an entire hour. I had movers waiting on me at my home to pack truck. I will never rent from a convenience store again. The truck was filthy inside and out. Beware of this Uhaul gas station location!!!!

Your trucks are not designed for long legged people. It was very difficult and uncomfortable to work the gas or brake pedals to the point as being unsafe because of the extra response time to apply the breaks.
I had no idea that this facility was nothing more than a convenience store. When we arrived we were shown a sticker on the counter (which had to be uncovered by the attendant to see) that gave the uhaul website and told to do it on our phone. When the site would not read our location we had to get the attendant to finish the process for us. No paper receipt. Nothing. Customers should be advised of the limitations of these locations. Very disappointing.
The place where I picked up the Uhaul was great. The owner is wonderful. The problem I had was with your people on the phone. There were no specific instructions. The last lady I spoke with was rude and acted like I was a criminal! NOT EVERYONE has a fancy phone to check certain things! I went in to the location like I thought I was suppose to do! I did not have a dolly on the truck like I had ordered and called you all right away. That lady was very nice and said she would put it on my account. The last lady said, "YOU ALWAYS CHECK BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE LOCATION TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS THERE"! I told her I did as soon as I got home and that is why I called right away. NO ONE ever told me to check to make sure at the location! Again, customer service is terrible and your rates are way too high. When I rented 14 years ago (last time) it was not this confusing. You need to teach respect and guide your customers. Not all of us are young and have the technology you think we should have!
The check out process was very slow even though everything was online. The owner needs training on expediting the online verification process. I was the only customer and it took over 30 minutes.
There was verified action code sent and I thought that was it because of the three step process where I had to input info but that wasn't the end I had to sign in and finish filling out more info.

The U-Haul system was wrong about pick-up and drop-off time, delaying our start by more than three hours. We chose a 7 AM pickup time, but upon confirming, we were told we couldn't pick up until 10:30 AM. We tried to call, but the number we were given for the location rang back to a fax number. When we arrived at 10:30, the guy said, "You were supposed to be here at 7?" Upon arrival, the person who checked the vehicle out really didn't know what he was doing at all. Nice guy, needs to be retrained. The vehicle was dirty - actual sand and dirt all over the floor, with trash inside. Generally speaking, picking up the vehicle was exceedingly frustrating.
Have set location for pickup. Had multiple pickup location changes.
Clerk did not know that the truck on site was a 15'. He told us it was a 10' which infuriated me because I had been assured that this location had a 15'. This was the fourth location I went to even tho I had made reservations the day before.
I had an issue uploading one of the pictures but I was able to call and resolve the problem, otherwise it was a smooth process.
Pick up was easy, too easy, employee never had me sign anything, didn't check anything, drop off was the same. when i called uhaul to make sure everything was done, the truck still showed as not checked out despite the rental already being complete. Uhaul needs to get their shit together.
We had to print our own paperwork and when we turned it in -- we found out they gave us the wrong truck (it said we had 20,000 miles). We drove it from Houston to Fort Worth -- Texas is big, but seriously.
This location was a new vendor and did not align with instructions from the app - I unlocked the truck but the key was not there for the cab. I could see the key hanging in the convenience store, but the attendant had to call UHAUL in order to confirm the process - really created a delay in our timeline.
