I requested a 4 by 8 trailer for a week to haul a bunch of camping gear. I picked up and returned with no issue. The guy running the place was nice. The trailer was clean. Only problem is the place is also a car dealership so it feels pretty cramped compared to stand alone uhaul places when trying to back in the trailer to return it.

Main lot is tiny and full. They have a secondary lot, but instructions on accessing it are included only after a phone call and not in the initial email.

UHaul changed the location of my reservation twice (once with a few hours notice). This is unacceptable, and made it very difficult to pick up the van. Enterprise Car Share has cargo vans and guarantees the location of the reservation in advance. In the future, I will never use UHaul unless they can immediately guarantee that the location will not change. I would be willing to pay more for this. A reservation that I can't get to is worthless.

Advise customers of change of address, my move way delayed for almost 2 hours because my pick up address was not my preferred address and no one advised me. An email was sent the day before, but I was traveling the full day so I didn't see it. Can't expect people to be advised by e-mail

5 days before my rental, the location of my truck was changed and I received no renumeration for the inconvenience. I would not recommend uhaul in the future because you can't keep your reservations.

I'd gotten a call from you all asking when I wanted to rent the 10-foot truck for, at this point I was waiting for the call for over an hour and a half. When the girl had called me at 3:35pm, I said I want to book the truck asap so she went ahead and scheduled it for 4pm. I'd gotten to the location at 5:10pm only to find the office is closed even though it says they're open until 7pm online. At that point I called the number it said to call on the door, at first the person kept me on hold while he was talking to somebody else on his end for a good 5 minutes. When he finally came back on the phone he'd transferred me to another person who when they picked up the phone hung up on me. I'd then called back the 800 number and the csr on that end was very helpful as always. During this time the guy from the Castlefield called back from whatever remote location he was at. He'd then accused me of being late because my rental has been booked for 4pm and that's why the location is closed. Not interested in arguing at this point he'd proceeded to direct me to a parking lot down the street from the location at some bakery where there was a 10-foot truck parked in the parking lot and he'd instructed me where the key is and such. This was the only truck of the kind in this parking lot or at the u-haul lot at 1460 Castlefield. I was not impressed at all with this vehicle. Actually I'll go as far as saying worst rental vehicle ever. It was filthy like it hasn't been cleaned in months, the smell in the cabin was awful like a landscaper's work truck. The front driver side headlight was burned out so I couldn't use it at night. Also the front driver side tire was extra low on air. I'd had to stop at the gas station and spend $1.50 to fill up their tire. Overall a very unsatisfactory experience.

I had to drive 40 km farther to pickup the truck. Guy there was fine. When I went to the original u haul there were no blankets available to rent. Disappointing as I was moving furniture.

I was cheated on the gas. When I received the truck it was at 3/8 mark, on my written agreement, uhaul force me to fill it up to the 1/2 mark, which was higher than the gas level when I received the truck.

Stop changing customers reservations after you explicitly guaranteed them. My reservation was changed 3 times to three different locations. This was the most frustrating experience I have ever had. U-Haul seems so disorganized and disconnected with its outlets. Totally dissatisfied with this experience and would never recommend anyone based om my experience. What's the point of making a reservation weeks in advance to avoid these terrible experiences if U-Haul still gets it totally wrong anyway? Your communication and customer service needs much improvement. The trucks at this location are parked in a bakery complex and there was no space for me to park the truck when I returned it. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Get your act together

We booked this truck at this location because of the open hours of 7-7pm that were posted. We needed this truck at 8am as we had a condo elevator booked from 8-3pm on June 27th. We were called late afternoon the night before and told we could get this truck at 11a.m on the 27th . We called back and talked to the owner and told him about the time, we were put on hold and then cut off. Our next calls and messages were not returned. We ended up picking up the truck at this location, this was not an end of month move and there were plenty of trucks...he had an employee show up for 11 am. This time shortage affected our move a lot and we ended up being stuck in Toronto rush hour during our departure to a distant location. We also had used our AMEX card to book this online, this location did not have a machine for our chip Amex card either. We did not expect this quality of service, and would have cancelled if we didn't have so many other to-do's going at the same, (and we were unsure if our credit card had been charged) I would have rated this poor, but the employee was friendly. I would not book at this location again.

The person who helped me at the Castlefield office was excellent; however; when I arrived he said I did not have a reservatioin, instead that I was suposed to go to Warden! I don't have a car and Castlefield was not my first choice anyway!

My confirmed ordered was 'moved' by uhaul to this distant location. Trailer was not ready. No blankets as per CONFIRMED reservation made weeks earlier. Pre-paid and that supposedly caused DELAY, not a faster process. 10+ minutes waiting on trailer, about 15 minutes waiting on paperwork. Worst uhaul experience ever.

The pickup location was fine however uhaul messed up my order, cost me more money in mileage and time do to smaller truck, and no discounts or compensation offered for u hauls mistakes, very dissatisfied with uhaul in general if not for the pickup location my move would have been disastrous
