The truck wasn’t ready to be picked up. We had to clean all the ice and snow from the truck and from the path so we could even get the truck moving. We requested to cancel the insurance and yet the guy charged us $15 for it. He even argued that this is a requirement and not an option and UHual the company makes it’s a mandatory requirement. I know it’s bullshit as when you book online it’s only optional. Other places are better. Do not recommend the location.

My final bill was completely messed up, I was charged for miles while odometer was in kilometres, no one never replied me back for my complaints, terrible experience, next time will choose another rental.

Ihad a problem with fuel charge. They charged me $11.65 unnecessarily for fuel when i returned van as it is exactly i got it b4. i told CS n they said its uhaul computer mistake. so u have to talk to uhaul customer service . they will return it for sure.but still i didn't get yet.

Truck was not ready. Completed express check-in beforehand and upon arrival took staff over 30 minutes to enter all of my information. Staff also forgot to provide a dolly (which I had paid for) and had to turn around to get it. Terrible experience. Would not use or recommend U-Haul to anyone.

Problems started when i was booking online. Site was slow e at the time to confirm it gave me.an error. I did not receive a confirmation on the first email registered. When arriving at the location next day at the time that i choose for pick up, the truck was not ready. I called and spoke with 4 differrnt people and only the last one Sunshine, gave me an answer that i had to wait for the store to open. The person resppnsible for this service arrived at 9:10 (late) and by the time that i left the store it was almost 9:40. Worst experience ever. Cibelle

Nobody seemed to know what was happening. Truck had glass all in the cargo bay and ended up cutting myself. When I returned it they tried to charge me for the "mess" of the glass that was there when I got the truck. Had to prove I made a deposit. Thankfully I used debit. If I had used cash the woman wasn't going to return my deposit. Took almost an hour and a half to pick up and an hour to drop off because staff was too focused on other things.

I showed up at 8:50am to pick up my vehicle. I had an appointment at 9:30. There was someone else waiting in front of me and the store didn't open till 9:10am. Even though I express checked-in hoping it would save me some time it took so long to get the vehicle. The store manager/owner was having trouble looking up my account and checking my credit card. I'm not sure if it was their internet server speed or what. I was a half hour late. Thankfully, my customer was flexible, though I'd prefer not to use U-Haul in the future.

First of all I booked for the Queen street location for pickup. Last minute I was told the only truck available and allocated is at Jane street. The person asked me to put 10 or 15 dollar Gas when I asked how much Gas I should put to travel from Toronto to Barrie location. I put $16 gas before dropping the truck back. I received the receipt and I see a $24 charge for fueling charges. Now when I called to ask the person says I can't do anything about it now. What kind of service is it ?

The woman has no idea how to use the UHaul system, took me 20 minutes to get setup. Upon return of the vehicle, she didn't accurately measure the gas tank.

Always rent the vehicles with the gas tank full. It is easy to then re-fill the tank before returning the vehicle. It is very difficult to, for example, return the vehicle with three-quarters of a tank of fuel. I end up putting in more fuel than I used in order to ensure that I won't be penalized for returning the vehicle with less fuel than it had when I picked it up. Don't leave your customers frustrated or we won't return.

It would be better if the person is handling this could be more proficient in either English or French we wasted a lot of time trying to be understood to the point that my name is spelt wrong
