This should not be a U-Haul location. The proprietor is a one-man shop doing business printing (allegedly) and selling religious books. He was unfamiliar with the U-Haul computer interface, and I had to tell him my information twice, information which should have already been on the contract when I signed up online. The trailer was parked in a back alley, trapped by two other vehicles, so there was a delay in getting it hooked up and driven out while the owners of those vehicles were located to move them. The tongue was a little bit heavy for me to lift onto the ball by myself, so I asked him to help me. He told me I should have contracted for assistance if I needed such help. He finally did help me lift it, but with an attitude. I had ordered the trailer rental and also some shipping blankets. The blankets were not present at pickup, so he said he would remove them from the contract. I hope that is the case. I got changed to this pickup location after the originally scheduled one apparently went out of business. See my contract for details of that original location. You guys seem to have trouble getting good contractors in Southern California. Overall, the pickup took longer than it should have, and it was not a professional representation of the U-Haul brand. You guys could have figured this out on your own without me telling you if you would have done a secret shopper transaction on this location. It is pretty obvious that it is not up to snuff

Placed in bad neighborhood and no lighting inside of building. No signs directing to park vehicle or drop off keys. Employee was unfamiliar with the mobile app process. Called me on my cell phone after the process demanding payment although it was paid on the app.

I have booked 10’ truck pickup at 12h30 Jun 29 and no truck for pickup. Next appointment is 3pm same day but still no truck and I must back on next day 30 Jun to get truck. I haven’t satisfied although the owner very nice working. Delay from other renter. My question is when and how I can get USD$50 because this delay situation? Regards,

Upon arrival, the “open” sign was flashing, but the entire facility was closed! We called the phone number and the gentleman said he was going to come ASAP. After 15 minutes, the man came, but it took around 45 minutes to complete everything (due to a “slow computer”, jammed lock, and talks of trying to get us to drive the truck back to Torrance). Prior to even looking at the car we were not able to make notes of scratches, bumps or anything; Yet we had to sign paperwork. We thankfully bought insurance and the gentleman stated that any scratches or bumps will be covered. When we actually got the the truck it was fairly well maintained, but there was fur all over the front and I was highly allergic to it.

Horrible. The store manager was clueless. It was disaster. He almost double charged me. He also typed the wrong information on the paper work. Dear U Haul manager. Please do not assign any renter to the store for pickup store location.

The "store" was not open as they advertised. When I called, the owner was "in the back" and was on the way to open the door. He was not in the back. It took another 30 - 40 mins wait to get my reservation going. The place is a total fraud. It is a front for multiple business, including a church service? The "owner" have business cards saying that he is a pastor! Its more like a front to get tax write off. His dusty printer didn't work and it took another 15 mins to get my receipt going. Another U Haul customer return a vehicle and he had to park it himself. The parking is terrible, small drive way and small parking spaces, the whole place is an accident trap and then you will have to pay for the damages. The other customer got into an argument with the owner who is trying to print out my receipt. It was the worst Uhaul rental in my experience. When I return the thing, I put in more gas then I drove off with. The owner wants to charge me for the gas when he didn't even go out and check the gas when he handed it off to me. Good thing I took a picture of it. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

They were having church in the location so I never went inside. He didn't understand the paperwork I was over on gas he still wanted to charge me. Definitely not a place of business. It was full of church people

Took over an hour to pick up a truck I had prepaid for, and the guy tried to take my credit card info again. Reserved 2 furniture dollies and was given zero, and not refunded.

No one was at the location to receive my vehicle. The attendant called me several times the day previous to ask me when I was going to drop it off. No signage or drop box for the key so I had to drop the key off in the door mail slot. Also no area or signage for parking.

The operator was slow, completely unresponsive to my concerns rude and unprofessional. The truck was not well maintained having one headlight out. My trip was through difficult canyon roads. Definitely a safety issue.

I reserved the truck for 12:00pm but all trucks were rented out. I was scheduled to pick up some furniture at 1:00pm but missed this time due to the delay. I was told that a truck would be ready by 1:00pm so I returned at 1:00pm. The truck wasn't ready yet, and I waited until 1:30pm until it was available. Terrible service, the servicer was very slow. I would not come back to this location.

We were made to return the truck on the 7th when our contract said the 9th. What in the world did we pay $400 dollars for. U-Haul is definitely getting yelped on this one.
