The operator of the location left 2 hours before they were scheduled to close. I waited for an hour for them. I had to come back the next morning. Trucks were dirty and AC didn't work.

I preordered a uHaul online. When I arrived at this location they repeatedly claimed that my order “wasn’t working” and “couldn’t happen.” In front of a line around the office and out the door, the one person working that Saturday morning recreated the exact order I had arranged beforehand at a snails pace. I was asked for my phone number no less than fourteen times. I was so exasperated at the end of the process, I left without the moving dolly and furniture pads I had ordered. I was thrown a pair of keys and left to wander up and down a busy street trying to match the license plate number on my order summary to one of the multitude of trucks parked in seemingly random locations on each side. This whole experience is an excellent case study in why uHaul is absolutely not worth it and the extra hundred or two dollars that it takes to hire movers is worth it every time from here on. You have lost me as a customer thanks to this one location. And, honestly, who cares about one customer? I’m sure uHaul certainly does not. But, judging by the increasingly loud and agitated comments of the 15-20 or so people behind me in line after my ordeal, it seems like I’m not the only one you’ll have to worry about.

I have rented a U-Haul truck twice before, without any issues. This time was a terrible experience. I reserved a 20ft truck on May 31 for July 1st. On June 29 I received an e-mail saying that my truck was changed to a 26ft. I called because a 26ft is too hard to drive and consumes more gas, and I did not need the extra space. I spoke with 3 different people, all who told me in a deceiving and condescending tone that I got an "upgrade without extra charge" without acknowledging my complaint. One of these was actually rude, talking over me on the phone and asking me to be quiet. One person told me she was going to call back within 2 hours with a solution, never called. On June 30 I called again and no solution was provided. A few hours later I received a new e-mail saying my pick-up location had been changed to one farther away, with the same 26ft truck. I called again, no solution was provided for neither the truck nor the location, and I was offered $50 credit. On July 1st, I went to pick-up the 26ft truck in the new location, and the truck was not there! I was told the previous customer had not returned it. I had loaders coming within the hour, parking and storage rented, hotel rooms booked, etc, everything set-up with one month in advance just as the U-Haul truck. They sent me to a location at a distance of 33min by car to pick up a 20ft truck, i was offered another $50 credit. I had to pay an Uber to get to the new location ($39). Needless to say, I arrived late to my loading and the movers charged me an extra hour ($140). The truck-service and customer-support I received was the most horrible service experience I have had in a long time, truly of the poorest quality there can be. A $100 credit does not nearly compensate the stress and bad treatment, let alone the extra cost I had to incur in getting to the 2 different locations and the extra cost for the extra hour of loaders. I expect at least a formal apology acknowledging the bad service and, if you really care about customer satisfaction, a proper compensation.

The person who was running the place kicked us out cursing and yelling.. he mentioned this was his 2nd and 3rd job and he had a bad day during the other job and we had a disagreement with the fuel level. So he went bananas. Kicked us out cursing and getting very aggressive, also the other customers were kicked out too.. Very very very unacceptabley bad experience. Also he got pissed because we had the fuel level lower than what paper said but luckily we have a picture that showing the fuel level. So at the end he was wrong and got very aggressive. He is a dangerous person seems like.. Very bad experience.!

We only were able to use the van we reserved when another customer returned it as we were being explained there wasn’t one. If someone reserves something you should make sure it’s there; otherwise there’s no point in reserving. I had a great experience, Van was exactly what I needed and I will be back, just a useless thought.

From the start the experience was painful. I reserved a truck online at a location and when I went there was told they dont have a truck for me. So then went to a diff location where for some reason the card reader wouldn't take my payment so had to go to ATM to pay cash where I put down a $100 deposit and was told when I got to the location they would give me the $100 back. However when I brought the truck back, that location did not have any cash. So was told to go to a diff location for the $ which I did, but they couldn't give it to me because the truck was still at the other location. So I had to go back to the original drop off location to get the truck and drive it to the 2nd location. Mind you the 1st and 2nd location was about half hour apart, so this took up a lot if time and gas $ on my mother's part because she had to drive her car back and forth with me as she was my ride home. I will avoid using uhaul in the future and def wouldn't recommend!

Despite the fact that he was working alone, and the phone was ringing frequently, and there was a large number of customers waiting to be served, the agent maintained his composure and did an excellent job serving us. His work was commendable. There really should have been at least one additional employee working there.

Firstly my van was booked at a location close to me for 11am. By 1pm they still had no vans available. I was told another location had a van so I walked there. When I got there the location was closed and I could not self check-in on the app as I have an international license. I was then told to walk over another mile away to a 3rd location. The office unit was gross and the van I was given had an electric failure causing constant beeping and internal lights to turn on. The message read that the wiper fluid needed replacing and that the passenger door was open, when it was not. I missed my appointment to collect some furniture as a result of this U-Haul experience. Or should I say, A-Paulling customer experience.
