Scary people were outside begging for money and obstructing our path to the building. They came up to our vehicle and then followed us. Management has to know this is occurring.

I made the reservation for 6:30am, before the UHaul office at this location was open. We arrived right at 6:30am and tried to use the self-service option to check-in. It said that our reservation hadn't been assigned any equipment. I called UHaul customer service and we were on the phone for ~30min trying to figure it out. The woman I spoke with was very patient, professional, and helpful and was eventually able to get my cargo van assigned to me. I really appreciated her help and thought she did an excellent job. When going through check-in, we got to the final step where we were supposed to get the keys and got another error saying that we should call. I called customer service again and the second rep didn't really know what to do and transferred me to a line that wasn't even open since it was early on a Sunday, so no progress was made there. I got a hold of a third person who told me we would have to wait until the office opened at 9am to get the keys for our 6:30 reservation, so we went home and came back at 9am. In total, we were at the gas station for about an hour trying to figure it out and it is not in the best neighborhood so this was less than ideal. Once we went back there at 9am, the man who helped us was fast and professional, but it would have been nice to have gotten our reservation at 6:30am when we reserved it. To have encountered so many errors using the self check-in was frustrating. However, the van was clean and most of the representatives I spoke with were very helpful, particularly the first one that I called.
