We barely had space to return the vehicle on Sunday. Still don't know if it was blocking the entrance, but we had nowhere else to leave it. The woman I spoke with Friday has called telling me we were sue to deliver our truck there even though we were told pickup and drop off were to be at a separate location. The woman I spoke with also did not provide her name so I could reference the call with someone from corporate to try and figure out what exactly we owed, how to extend a day, and where we needed to drop our truck off. The person renting out the equipment was not knowledgeable of the equipment. I have never rented or hooked up a trailer before. The bolt to tighten the trailer was cross-threaded and the lights didn't work. The chains are supposed to be crossed (a $500 fine in Arkansas). I didn't know of this law either. As I drove out of down the entire trailer came off of the ball. Going 55 MPH and having a trailer come off like that was extremely scary and I am very thankful that my son and I were not harmed! The cross-threading made it seem as if it was secured but it was not. When I go to the next town to a u-haul for more help the gentleman helping me said they should have never rented me the equipment. He said that it was very dangerous and that I had no lights. The person I rented it from said all lights were working. He traded out the light cable but I still didn't have all of them. He said that if I got pulled over that u-haul would have to pay my ticket. I realize that I am the individual who rented the equipment, however, I am no expert when it comes to connecting a trailer. I feel that if u-hauls are going to be rented out by someone they need to have full knowledge of the laws and how to's of this business.Stephanie G.
Overall great experience. Very friendly and professional people to work with. Would highly recommend! We rent trucks pretty regularly and they made it a very easy process. Definitely be back to this location to rent again.James H.

Alert U-Haul customers, Danger Zone, be very care full, you might have to face consequences just to drop day to day drop off of your vehicle. You might have to face Cops. Yep police. The owners both Lady and a Guy are so Disrespectful, They just not kicked me out of the building saying that its their property they also called COPS on me, unnecessary wasting every body time. Cops advised me to launch a complain to U-Haul, which I already did. I am not that kind of person who always complain, I always forgive. My religion teaches me to love and distribute love. But at the same time I don't want others to face what I experienced, the pain , the insult, the racisms, Humiliation, I felt threatened by fallowing the simple rules. I got treated like a criminal and a sinner. I felt very Depressed after this. The staff is like bad people, I will tell like ganisters, They are even smoking right IN front of the main door which is very small, Both lady owner and guy smoking and letting the customer breath the smoke. I don't know what's make them react like that. I respect them still and appreciate their job to help other people to go to destinations. But when it comes to me I don't know even after explaining many times the owners of that place feel like they are owner of U-Haul. When it come to me let me introduce my self. I am by the grace of Almighty an Educated person. I am an It guy, I am computer Engineer. I worked in many Big US Government companies, like Fannie Mae as a It Engineer. Also I have got customer relation experience. I have got stores. I am a store Manager too. I know How to avoid misunderstandings well, and make customer happy by providing excellent service. I don't know why those U-Haul people treated me like that. They treater me like a piece of Garbage. Times like this we are hurt, we loose our jobs and we cant make money enough to pay for apartment, so we move and barrow money from friends and family and books a U-Haul to move from one state to other state. We don't have Budget to book a movers. We move by our self doing all the labor work with no help. Still we are in pain and we shows other and our family member that we are happy. Home this will prevent happening to others, cause times like this very less people got the stamina to over come this insult, most of them go to depression. Even after this incident my business is in loss cause I am scared and closing my store very early cause those U-Haul people are very close to my location. And I am afraid that they will unnecessarily take revenge. They already charged me the hefty prices for My U-Haul trip. I still getting charged for unnecessary things till this morning I got charged $120 extra from my card. I am fighting for that Still. Hope every thing will be alright. But this is my worst experience in whole my life. Even Penske company is offering me good deals but I always choose U-Haul. People are asking me is U-Haul that bad. But I am honest. I keep telling them no U-Haul company is very good and faithful. There are many Good and excellent people still working.FNU K.
The people are friendly and very helpful. In moving a home I needed moving blankets which I ordered and only to find they were not available when I picked up the truck. Thank you for your help.LAURA B.
First, the trucks were not in the same location as the office, which was very inconvenient. Then we did a reservation online, but when I went to pickup the truck it took 30 minutes to fill out the forms. Didn't use any of the reservation information, Was charged for furniture pads, but they were out of them. Just a bad experience overall.Laura J.
My experience was absolutely horrible and I will never, ever use uhaul again. I booked my reservation about two weeks in advance originally at the Temperance Hill location in Hot Springs. I had elected to drop pick up and drop off at that location; however I decided it would be better for our situation to drop off in Bryant. I called multiple times a day, for over a week with no answer. Finally, day of rental I receive a call and I am told I am picking up from the Grand Avenue location. Slightly inconvenient but not a big deal. HOWEVER, when we are unable to find the location, we call the number provided. We had to call several times asking for instructions. The first time we were told the address of the store. We put that in our GPS and no luck. Finally, around the 4th time calling explaining where we are and asking for directions, the lady on the phone decides to mention that the is NO uhaul signage and NO uhauls out front of the location. That would have been really nice to know before we spent almost an hour looking for UHAUL since we were supposed to be picking up a uhaul... Uhaul did not make my move stress free, and it definitely did not make the â€œday ofâ€ move easy, considering it took us almost 2 hours to get a uhaul that was reserved weeks in advance.ANSLEY F.

The location for rental and the location for vehicle pick up are not the same. A few blocks away. Neither location seems to have someone on site during business hours.Christopher B.
