I reserved the truck at 7am at a gas station location and when I showed up, the place was still locked so I couldn't get the key. Manager was a no show. I had to call multiple U-Haul customer service numbers so they could track the manager down. Once he finally arrived, he didn't apologize, instead he told me he didn't have a record of my reservation (incorrect) and continued to help other customers while I was standing there staring at him waiting for the damn truck key. I had to pay my team of movers an extra two hours worth of pay, and because we lost those hours in the morning we had to sit in traffic in the afternoon to get to the destination. It was complete bull shit and I'm pissed - I'll never use U-Haul again and the guy at this Garnet location needs to get his shit together.Adamo D.

I reserved a 15 ft truck that this location did not have in stock when I arrived to pick up. After looking around at other locations for a 15 ft truck, I wound up accepting the 10 ft truck that was available. This truck's check engine light turned on in transit, so I took the truck to the drop off location and returned it. I was unable to fulfill the purpose of renting this truck and would like a full refund. Despite all the issues with U-Haul online, as well as the truck. The clerk that facilitated my rental was very kind and helpful in navigating the initial issue of the truck not being available and setting up my new reservation.BRANDON T.
Mathias the Area Manager for UHAUL saved the day! I spent 10+ hours and days of calling this. location and customer service looking for a very important item left in the vehicle. Unfortunately the vehicle broke down for the next renters so there was no way for me to recover the keys. Luckily Mathias went out of his to find them, pick them up, and bring them to a facility where my family could collect the items as I was out of town. If local gas stations are going to be renting U-Haul equipment, they should be familiar with that equipment. We rented a truck and discovered that the back door did not open due to a jamb on the side. We returned it, but were not compensated for our time and inconvenience in waiting for repair.MICHAEL L.

My reservation was for a larger truck. About 5pm before my pick up time of 9am, uhaul dispatch called to say they had no trucks bigger than 10' for one way rentals. WHY ALLOW A RESERVATION TO EXIST IF YOU CAN NOT HONOR THE RESERVATION??? Uhaul totally let me down and made the move a miserable experience!! I now hate Uhaul!!!!!!Jeffrey W.

The site and the store manager were very kind and helpful. My issue was with the customer service representative that I had to call because the rates were inconsistent with my reservation and the location manager was unable ti make adjustments. The customer service was HORRIBLE. The guy fought with us and made the pick up very stressful. Then proceeded to give us business advice when dropping off. We live right near this uhaul location and planned on using your services many times omg eh next 3 month moving up to our ranch and will NEVER again. Ryder we go. The truck smelled like cigarette smoke there was beer cans in there. Horrible. All of it. We will be telling anyone who is moving in our military community NOT to use you.Krystina C.

First my reservation was made incorrectly because I wanted to pick up after hours. At drop off I was told that it been more than 24hrs. 7am to 1pm the following day. Even though my pickup location had to be changed because 7pm was too late for my original reservation. I put no gas in the vehicle because I only drove 13 miles. The check out said I needed to pay for 2 gal of gas. No problem. I asked how many mpg he thought the vehicle got. He replied "ten." Then he told me the odometer read 39 miles. I asked how i drove 39 miles on 2 gallons of gas at 10mpg. I paid the man for the sake of the growing line of customers at the gas station. I was not impressed.Josh H.

Mobile app is crap. Spent half an hour going through it, only to find keys weren't even in the vehicle ready to go. Still had to go inside, cancel my Mobile reservation and go through the in person checkout process. Not an easy experience at all.William T.

The truck was pretty dirty and still had random garbage inside the front and back of the truck that I had to clean out first. Also the truck didnt even have a mirror to show what's behind me when I was backing up which seems kind of unsafe.Shay C.

The person at this location kept making mistakes on how much I owe. Apparently there was an extra digit entered accidentally by someone which indicated I had driven over 300 miles in the hour and half that I had the van. It took a lot of discussion to correct it. Also he wasn't not wearing a mask and when I noticed two customers without masks, I asked him if he requires people to wear masks in his place of business , he replied that there is NO requirement to wear masks.Maryam D.

Attendant was rude and snappy. Wanted Me to take a picture of the mileage and gas and plug in my personal phone in to his system to show him. I did not feel comfortable with that. I don't see why he couldn't take a photo with his phone if he needed it as opposed to just looking at it. Also the gas was at 3/8 and he marked it as less so he charged me. Unhappy. I was overcharged for several items and several of the charges were not disclosed at the time of pick up. I feel I was ripped off . The base charge of $19.95 rose to $93 for a 20 mile trip of under three hours. I was refunded $30. I know you will never read this and filling it out is a waste of time.
