This place is located in a very dangerous place, no lightning other than street lights, no directions where to park the truck, grass had not been cut, no signs to indicate where to leave the truck, had to go to front of the building to find the drop box for the key no lighting. The blankets that were in the truck was infestated with ticks and spiders. My daughter was bitten up so badly and had to be hospitalized due to the swelling.Kimberly F.

When we arrived my husband had to find the entrance which didn't have very good signage. The women inside never came outside to explain anything to us. She told my husband that nobody would be there when we dropped off trailer on Saturday and that they wouldn't be there until Monday. She implied that the trailer didn't need to be dropped off until Monday. She should never have done that. That implied implication lead us to extra charges. When I called her to explain not to imply to other customers to bring back a later day because they get charged an additional fee she got angry and rude. She had done this to other people. Probably nothing, the entrance and U-Haul boxes are not well marked and navigation systems don't lead to that door location, they lead to another side of the block.Darryl G.

No clear signs of where to park the truck. So I parked on the grass beside other trucks that was located near someone home. Also the online truck return process is a headache. Much easier returning to a person at the counter.Brandi S.

Even though this location is in sort of a strange place in town the staff were right beside their cell phone to take my call when I couldn't figure out where to meet them. They arranged to have someone attach the trailer to my car as I had requested he was there waiting for me when I arrived, that went smoothly. He also gave me some tips about driving the trailer.trina S.

Difficulty using app to check out the truck. The amount to be charged to card did not include a $100 deposit which confused me when I was given a total just before completing the service. The truck was nearly on empty when I got it and just made it to the gas station. I put over 38 gals of gas in the truck. Have never been given a truck where I had to worry whether or not I was going to make it to a gas station. I returned the truck to the end location with more than a quarter tank in it so I feel it was an added expense to me where some on else gets the benefitMelissa W.

No clear indication of where to leave the truck/trailer as the storage facility is around the corner and not at the specified location. Not an ideal location for overnight returns. Additionally, no clearly visible dropbox to return the key for overnight rental (attendant did note that they are in the process of fixing this issue).Antonio L.
I was on the phone with customer service for one hour because there was no box marked â€œDropboxâ€, like customer service said. I missed an appointment due to this. I would not recommend this location to anyone. This completely ruined my experience with U-Haul, and makes me think twice about using U-Haul services -Nd the 24/7 pickup/ drop off service again.Nierron D.

I paid for the more expensive "Appliance" hand truck but received the cheaper and less do-able "Utility" hand truck. Have tried several times to get ahold of a customer service representative.Richard H.

HORRIBLE from beginning to end! Do not roll out a mobile pickup if your guest is going to waste an hour picking it up AND returning it because the system does not work. You cost me $50 making me late to meet movers I had lined up because of your crap system. We also loved driving a Uhaul with "FU" on the side of it. The place you pick up from is ridiculous! Poor Service. We will use Budget from now on!Troy C.

delay picking up trailer because, although there was someone on site, the doors to office and pick-up site were locked and phone #s did not pick up - eventually got someone on the 1-866 #, but the person on site was not knowledgeable and had very poor customer relations skills (stayed on his cell phone the whole time he was talking to us). There was little to go wrong with a trailer, but he had difficulty getting lights to work.Connie P.

The location closed at 230 on saturday, but there was a note to call a number for assistance. I called the number, and was informed that the office was closed and would reopen again monday at 9am. I dropped off my equipment and left the key in the drop box as instructed by the representative. The equipment was returned Saturday at 3:30, even though it was rented through Monday at 12:30. I just received my invoice stating the equipment was not checked in again until Tuesday at 5:30. I should not be charged any additional fees for extra days of rental equipment for the drop off location not being staffed properly. I would not recommend this location to anyone, as they were not helpful at all, and have office hours that are not realistic for weekends.Brittani W.

When I first arrived to the store, nobody was there. So I called the number I was provided 3 times and when someone picked up there was alot of music in the background like she was at home. She then tells me to wait there and she will call me back. After 30 minutes passed, two guys came walking down the street that did not look like employees and let me in the store. One of the guys called the lady and I had to do everything over the phone. This experience was very uncomfortable. If I really did not need the equipment then I would have left.Jonathan G.

The truck I rented was great, but the process of trying to confirm a reservation in Burlington, NC is way too difficult. I had to make numerous phone calls and even had to drive to 501 Trollinger Street because they don't answer the phone there. I called UHaul and told them I would never rent anything at 501 Trollinger. Cheapo Self Storage was better, but the man running the office that morning was very disorganized and had to get his boss on the phone to complete my rental.Don S.
Was told I had to pay for two day rental when I only needed it for one and that the facility where I dropped off would issue a credit for the second day. When I dropped off on the same day, Sentry Self Storage told me this was inaccurate info and that Cheapo should have only charged me for one day,. I have tried calling Cheapo all morning and get recording to leave message which I did. This is a very poor reflection on U Haul and your business practices of corporate as wll as your local agents.Dan D.
