The employees were super nice and the store was super clean. But the truck had mechanical issues. Check engine light was on and there was a continuous whoooshing sound in the cabin. The truck was not clean. Outside was dirty and there was a layer Dusti/ dirt on everything insideBarbara P.

Entire customer experience was painful and misleading. Booked a truck, furniture pads and dolly for a Saturday move. Website indicated all equipment was available at Polaris Self Storage. Received a rate for a Saturday rental. Confirmed reservation. Several hours later I received a call that the location I chose did not actually have the truck indicated on the Uhaul website. As such, my reservation was being transferred to another location 3 miles away. I proceed to go through the confirmation process, including submitting my drivers license through the digital portal. On rental day I show up at the new location and find they have no furniture pads or dolly. I was told to go to another location. That would have been great information to know before I showed up. By then I did not have time to search for the additional tools that, according to your website, were part of my reservation. To add to the poor experience, when I returned the truck, full of gas, I was subjected to a different per-mile fee than was quoted and shred upon during my initial reservation. I found the entire experience misleading at best and possibly fraudulent.William A.

I was very frustrated with the pickup experience. I signed up for the 24/7 mobile pick up at 9:00. When I arrived, I clicked â€œI am ready for pickupâ€ on the app and continually got an error message telling me I needed to wait for a representative to arrive on location at 10:00. That was an hour from my reservation time. After trying to troubleshoot and reach a representative via phone, we went into the supermarket and asked if anyone from Uhaul was available. Fortunately, there was a kind rep who was able to help us. Overall, this was a very frustrating start to my moving day. 24/7 contactless pickup should not be promised, if the company cannot follow through on that service.Michael P.

The location was chosen based on proximity to my office. However, it took 45 minutes (I was the only customer) to complete my paperwork/sign-in as the person doing the processing was being taught by another person. Communication was poor. Vehicle was filthy. Like really dirty. Fries on the floor, tobacco containers, tobacco spit and loose tobacco on the dash and floor. Other trash also. They did not do an inspection or offer to help clean it. Did not have dolly I requested, instead had furniture dolly which was not as helpful. Had to go back into store to tell them dolly was not in truck as paid for. Also - lock on back of truck had been cut. I had to personally buy a new lock and key to use this vehicle. Truck ran fine - had 149k miles, so it was not in great shape, but serviceable. I will not be renting from this location again.Kimber W.

To start my truck, I had to shake the steering wheel back and forth until it went in the right spot for the key to turn. Took me 10 minutes to get it started several times while struggling to turn the key.Tyler W.

Uhaul was parked in office building parking lot surrounded by their cars, making it extremely challenging to get 26' truck out. Was dirty in the back and truck only had quarter of a tank to start. When returning the person put next to no effort into the return and was upset that I didn't park the truck half mile away in the same lot because I didn't want to damage those cars. Overall won't be going back here.TYLER S.

My card was charged twice due to Uhauls faulty systemsKENDALL V.
The staff at this location was great however the uhaul system it's self was horrible. It kept freezing up at the patient portion. My card was charged and then it wouldn't allow her to proceed she called uhaul they took over and said my card was declined I said of course bc the money is already pending from when it was processed. So I had to pay on another card do basically it was double charging ppl as a result of this issue. The customer before me came back in and said he was charged 2xs as well from uhaul rerunning it several times. So now I have to wait 3-5 days for this $74.90 to clear which messed me up from other things I needed to do. It wasn't the store bc the worker pulled up other websites like YouTube etc it worked just fine. This is an inconvenience to ppl who are moving and spending money for certain things to be double charged because uhaul system freezes. Not acceptable again not the stores fault but the systemGwendolyn C.

The van I rented was listed online to fit a queen size bed in it, so I assumed it was tall enough for the box spring and mattress to stand upright. That way the headboard, footboard and sides all could fit in there as well easily. But, the only way the queen size bed fit in the van was angled making the loading and unloading a huge problem. You should not advertise this van as being able to hold a queen size bed without it standing up on it's size fully. This was very DISAPOINTING.Dan S.

The truck had so much dirty sand, I had to sweet and mop it. No Trolley available. It's ridiculous, gas was almost empty. He claimed I didn't get charged for gas but he did not refund my $25. I will never rent from there ever again. On top of that he calculated wrong miles. 8 miles turned 12 miles.ADENIKE F.

Very nice people and a very easy check in/put process. The location was great. The truck as a whole was fine. The cleanliness of the cabin wasn't great but it was acceptable. The engine had some mechanical issues. It lurched and jerked when accelerating. It made the 200 miles I drove very uncomfortable and some of my things I was moving were damaged.SHANNON H.

I only needed an afternoon rental, and this location worked out well. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it took about 15 minutes for the process once I got there - problems with wifi and also the truck had not been checked in when returned by last user. Luckily we weren't in a huge hurry, or that would have been very irritating. A great thing about this place is that they are open til 7pm, while many of the other rental places are only open til 5pm.SUSAN A.

Everything was good. Check-in / check-out was easy. The cargo van was clean & ready to go. I was anxious about leaving my own car overnight due to a rash of break-ins in our area, so, the store's owner directed me to park at the front of the store, and came outside with me to point out the location/direction of some of the security cameras, where any activity would be recorded (my car was fine). Make sure that U-Haul online makes very clear that a PERSON NEEDS to complete the information online beforehand, and the site needs to emphasize that the truck and supplies are not paid for yet, till the driver's license, second's person's phone #, etc. is received- this should all be stated on the website so that when a person goes there, they have everything they need to just pick up the truck and leave. The manager there was extremely rude with a chip on his shoulder.Chris C.

I would hesitate picking up or returning at this location after dark otherwise it was easy to find and conveniently located. We did the contactless pick up and it was pretty easy to get the truck but I would recommend taking pictures for yourself if the mileage and gas, I found these hard to locate upon return to fill up the tank correctly. The return process had some glitches in the website that made it somewhat time consuming but overall it worked very well for us and I would recommend!Katherine G.
