Not very friendly, and they did not seem to care about the pick up and delivery of trailer. They did not go to hook the trailer up and they also did not look at trailer when I left it. The trailer was at a remote location other them where the store was. Seemed very unprofessional, they did not seem to know how to run the computer and I was charged an extra day because they messed up reservation. Will never rent from them at all again!Oscar O.
I have rented several U-Haul trucks in the past and this place in Ault is by far the worst place to deal with. There store looks like a tornado hit and the truck windshield was so dirty I could not drive the truck until I washed the windshield.Gaylen A.

being at the side of the road for 6 hours with issues (wheel bearing) that should have been addressed by inspection or when the tire was changed during the last time the truck was rented out (yes we found out the history of truck) was not acceptable. We could have lost the tire completely if we had not pulled over immediately. Life threatening issues that could have been avoided if the tire repair was done correctly in the first place. BUT, every person we spoke to was helpful and friendly... so my issue is not with customer service, only the equipment and upkeep.lisa S.
As I was dropping the trailer off in Ault, Co I rcvd a text stating the drop off location had changed. The trailer was already disconnected from the car, so the U-Haul personnel let me know that this location was just fine. Changing the drop off location in the middle of a move was extremely inconvenient. We have used U-Haul for over 30 years and have been extremely satisfied. This last incident was an exception to our typical U-Haul experience.Mike P.

This is more for U-haul than the place where I dropped it off, but there should be help with installing the trailer to the truck. I'm sorry but I am not capable of installing such a thing and was very shocked that I was never told I would have to install it by myself. Thankfully, the man at the store said I could call incase I needed help and someone (friend of someone who worked there) came to help me install the trailer. Otherwise, I probably would have never been able to leave for my move without the help.adeline K.

The equipment was stuck in a corn field. My husband had to ask for help. The equipment was dirty. We had to pick up on Thursday rather than Saturday..not in Cheyenne..but in Aunt, Co. I droped off my husband to pick up our uhaul truck at the ault location and started driving the 20 minutes back home and he called me when i was about half way home to tell me that he needed me to come back and pick him up and drive him to the truck that was a mile away from the uhaul location. It was 95 degrees that day and we had movers just sitting there waiting for us. The man that worked at uhaul offered no apologies and said I GUESS i can give you a ride but i was already on my way back to pick him up. Also i think its odd that the uhaul employee didn't take us over to the tuck to show us the truck and record the gas that was in it and any imperfections on the truck so we didnt end up being responsible for those damages to the truck. This was very inconvenient and it costed me money.britany S.

The 5x8 trailer I rented was older and the roll up door on the back was really hard to open. It could have used some lubrication. I mentioned it to the man here in Roswell, NM when I set up my return time with him on the phone.Debbi K.

The drop off spot is a little goofy, not marked well and not obvious. There's not a lot of room to maneuver there either but we got 'er done. No complaints except they keyed it in wrong and it appeared that it was not returned until I got an email from U-haul and called them up. Then it got fixed right away. Everything went well at the pickup location. The folks were very helpful. They even helped by turning my hitch ball over to lower hitch height for better leveling of the trailer. They were very friendly. I really wanted a trailer at Cheyenne, WY but none of the U-Haul dealers had one. With five dealers in Cheyenne you would think a 5x8 covered trailer would be available. The dealer (JT) in Cheyenne was very helpful to locate a trailer which was fifty miles away.MELVIN H.

I reserved a truck using the stores website. When I drove(2 towns away) to pick up the truck, the company, "Corner auto and Tire", didn't exist. I called on the phone and was told their company has a different name. I was also told that there was "No way" they would know when a reservation was made via their website. ??? What's the point? Even though I had completed all info for "express check-in", I stood at the desk for about 7-8 minutes while they processed the reservation. The man helping me was friendly, even though he knew how angry I was. Other employees sneaked looks at me and tried to hide their giggles. If you have other alternatives to using this store, do so!Elizabeth P.

The trailer we reserved was not there - had to hand move a large flatbed out of the way in order to get to the one we were given. Very inconvenient and difficult. For the return - we were told to bring the trailer back on Sunday even though they are closed. There was no check in process - we were worried that we would be held accountable if it was no longer there on Monday. Not ideal.Troy L.

I will never rent from this location again or refer my worst enemy to you. The service was terrible. First, no one bothered to tell us that the pick up location was closed on Saturday and that we would have to drive to a different location to get the keys and pay and then turn around and drive back to the 1st location to pick the tuck up. 2nd, when we do get to the other location, the guy who was supposed to be helping us continued to help customers that came in after us before completing our transaction. you would think that $170.00 was a bit more important to your business than a $6 dollar transaction. Then come to find out that the Dolly we rented was not ready and with the truck. The Cashier tells us to go to the truck and he will be buy to get it for is in just a few minutes, 30 min later he arrives, telling us the store got so busy after we left, we that is not our problem since we were his customer 1st. EQUIPMENT IS IN DIFFERENT LOCATION THEN OFFICE. I WOULD HAVE FELT A LITTLE MORE COMFORTABLE IF SOMEONE WOULD HAVE LOOKED AT EQUIPMENT AND CHECKED ME OUT THAT WAY INSTEAD OF WORD OF MOUTH. NO ONE EVER LEFT OFFICE TO CHECK OR HELP WITH EQUIPMENT. WAS TOLD TO "CALL IF I HAD PROBLEMS." I confirmed with UHaul that I was picking up at a different location at 9 am, when I arrived I found that they did not open for 2 hours. The guys at Corner Auto and Tire were great, but it was a horrible experience with UHaul overall.LYDIA O.

Had to drive from Cheyenne, WY to Ault, CO at the last minute to rent their Tow Dolley. I had reservations for a Tow Dolley in Cheyenne for over six weeks, but the Cheyenne Haul Dealer rented my reserved tow dolley to someone else. When I arrived at the Cheyenne Haul, they did not have a Dolley for me as promised. They said they had notified me by text, but I never received any text. I wasted over five hours and had to drive to CO to find a replacement Dolley, and then drive 1,700 miles in tow.
