When I got to the location the person inside did nothing to help me in my check in, he told me I needed to do it all on line, even though the cell service was terrible and it took me almost half hour to go through the process.Sheila A.
Cut off this location from being uhaul rental hub. They were rube, unprofessional, uncommunicative, dangerous location, construction trucks and machinery all around, threatening staff, missing equipment requested causing a hug delay in my move & then refusal to correct their errors.Jacquelyn B.

Really don't care for the online rental/return policy. What ever happened to customer service? As for the panel van I rented, there was quite a bit of sand inside the unit. Not an issue for me since I was only moving boxes, but I definitely would not have put a mattress in that van. I did stop into the office and the gentleman at the desk was quite helpful.Laticia B.

We had a hard time picking up the van. The woman assisting us was a little short with us. I do understand that it was toward the end of the workday, but during a stressful move, we really could have used a little bit more patience and attention. Overall, the van worked great for our needs. The unexpected extra charges were frustrating. I would have liked for them to be included in the original quote. Quoting me for $30 under the actual price was misleading. Next time, I will find a friend rather than spend $70 to rent a truck for only 3 hours (which was cut short to 2 hours due to the slow, difficult customer service).Natalie D.

The truck was dirty when picked up including a big ball of hair in the driver's side door. The drop off was terrible - the location did not give us instructions on how to drop off after they close. There was no drop off box for the key as the uhaul website instructed and the location closes at 4PM so we were not able to leave the truck inside the gate. Called customer service and they were helpful (but did not have the proper information from the location) so we were just told to leave the passenger door unlocked and the key under the driver's seat. The truck was not in a secure place but we left it there as instructed.Ana S.

The man in the office at Devon Storage was very professional and properly explained all pertinent details of my rental. Would definitely call him again when/if I need a uhaul in Austin, TXRebecca P.
Since this is a third party location the speed of the verification was quite slow and rather frustrating. Before asking for a secondary contact, there should be a disclaimer saying they would be called immediately for verification and required to answer to move forward.Cody S.

We were never told that our preferred pick up location was changed. We had to travel to two different 3 different uhaul locations before we found out which one actually had our reservation.Dawn M.
The storage unit person wasn't able to complete the processing of my return information due to a snag in the software program. He had me use the link on my phone to do the return processing. However the U-Haul ap couldn't read my location when I pressed in the ap to confirm my location. My phone was set to allow seeing my location and my phone map ap correctly showed my location. It took about an hour for us to get this resolved in the process of calling the U-Haul 24 hr number. On the 3rd call the customer service op took the return information from me a said I could go.Larry B.
When I made the reservation I selected a dolly and furniture pads, then when I arrived to pick up the truck I was told those items weren't available. If they're not available at a certain pickup location I should've been notified or that shouldn't have been an option at all. The inside of the vehicle was really dirty. But other than that, the office staff was really nice and helpful! I was using the app for the pickup, but there was an error when I tried to activate the pickup. Luckily, the two ladies in the office hadn't left yet, even though it was passed business hours, and they were able to help me with the pickup/drop off. Thanks!Juan G.

It wasn't so much the location being an issue, I had an issue trying to setup my profile through the app. Everyone I spoke with over the phone kept telling me that I needed to upload a picture of myself and a picture of my drivers license and then I could get the lock code to access the truck, but there was never a place for me to do those things. I tried the app and tried doing it on a regular browser, but still could not figure it out. This ended up delaying my move over 2 hours because we were supposed to get the truck at 7am, but ended up having to wait until 930am for this location to open. When we were finally able to get the truck, the staff was really nice and very helpful but I was short 10 blankets and a dolly because they didn't carry those at their location when I had already paid for those in the express checkout.John D.
The 24/7 pickup is misleading since I only have a 30 minute (or hour? It was unclear) window to log in and pick up the vehicle. The pick up location had minimal staff availability throughout the day. The whole process is location specific and unclear. At the same time another group was also having difficulty with the same issues. The gps was not picking up our location and stymied the whole electronic process. It was not a smooth experienceCecelia P.
