The truck was filthy inside. Garbage, sticky stuff all over cup holders. Food on floor. Could hardly see out if windshield. I spent quite a bit of time cleaning it. Driver Side door wouldn’t close well. Had to slam it over and over. but I want to say the young man that helped us when we picked it up was awesome and helpful. Would give him 5 stars. Wouldn’t rent uhaul again due to truck condition.

I can't remember his name, but the man at this location was very professional and helpful. He saw that I had accidentally Chose a different location, and remembered I had called just a few minutes earlier to confirm he had the equipment I needed. So he called me back to say he changed it for me and I was able to pick it up at the location I wanted too. Great vendor/owner/retailer, whatever you call it. Vehicle was clean and did not smell like smoke, like some of mine have in the past. Would recommend to any of my Gainesville friends/family.

My reservation was cancelled, but I was still charged for it. I don't know if this is a policy, but it doesn't seem quite fair. This location is a little bodega, not a full U-Haul store

We did not fuel up enough, they called us to see if we wanted to refuel before being charged extra, to save the service fee. We declined, but appreciated the effort. Appreciate the level of service.

The unit was not clean but the Uhaul rep handled immediately. He apologized and expressed disappointment that the unit had not been properly checked by in upon the last return. The pick-up location representation was superb!

Maybe consider the larger cargo trailer, not because they are smaller than they look but because i found i had much more stuff to move than i originally thought.

When picking up my truck and trailer, the uhaul employee going to pull up the truck and trailer asked the uhaul employee behind the counter, “which trailer should I get, the one with the brakes that have been smoking?” And I interjected, “please don’t give me the one with the brakes that have been smoking.” Both men laughed a little and one said “we’ll take care of you, don’t worry.” Then, I’m 50 miles into my drive and my wheel comes loose and angles inward and starts smoking like crazy because it’s running against the trailer. It wasn’t the brakes, it was the axle bearings. The employees knew there was an issue with the trailer and gave it to me anyway. So I was stuck waiting for help on the side of I-75 with 3 dogs and a cat under sedative that wears off after 8 hours. The breakdown happened at 5:30 pm and I didn’t get my car loaded onto a new trailer until 1 am, which was about the time I was supposed to be at my destination. It was a horrible experience and U-haul customer service was barely helpful. The service rep they sent out (who works for a private towing company but gets contracted by U-Haul was by far the most helpful person. He personally took it upon himself to go find me a new trailer at the local u-hauls because roadside assistance just had me on hold forever “processing my information.” That guy told me he’s seen U-Haul make people wait up to 8 hours before help arrives. I ended up reaching my destination at 7:30 am and had to be at work at 8 am on no sleep. It was awful.

It was my first time renting a truck that big and pulling a car. The staff was incredibly helpful!

Returned the truck with more gas in it then was when I rented it. Got no credit on the extra gas. I have in the past just not this time.
