The reservation was a terrible. The worst. The pick had no information and I called Uhaul, emailed them and then uhaul called meSCOTT H.

We chose the self drop off option. When we pulled up, we were unclear on where to leave the uHaul, as the gate was locked and we did not have a code. We only knew how to do this after reading the other reviews of people who left their truck parked outside the gate on a steep hill. I would highly recommend that this location add this in their drop off directions.Tyler M.

I couldn't turn in the U-Haul correctly because the app wasn't working correctly and was then charged $20 for an after hours fee even though I had a 24/7 u haul rentalZane T.
The mobile site was not showing the online truck rental when I arrived, even after 10 minutes. The woman at the desk was very helpful in getting me set up. The mirrors on the truck were almost unusable due to the angle and height of our driver, and could not be adjusted. This was problematic with driving.ELIZABETH K.

Picking up the uhaul was fine. The lady in the office was sweet. When I returned the uhaul there were no signs on where to park it so we pulled it up in front of a gate next to where we picked it up. I'd accidentally locked a pair of my keys inside the uhaul upon dropping it off so I went to get them today. There was a smaller guy who was nice about it, and then a white haired guy on the phone. The white haired guy pointed his finger at me and went OFF on where we parked the uhaul. He basically yelled at me saying the fire department and cops were called bc the gate was blocked and how NOW THEY NEED TO PUT A SIGN THERE. .....a sign would've been helpful to begin with bc I wasn't told where to drop it off. The man continued to berate me and scoffed at my apologies and said it was a big hassle and that the guy driving the uhaul (my stepdad) was a "douche" for where he parked the uhaul. I had to step out before I said some hateful choice words. I would not recommend this place to anyone. He was very unprofessional and rude.Kelsey L.
Ordered a hitch through Uhaul a week prior to renting the trailer. The hitch shipped 5 days after I picked up the trailer. A spare trailer hitch does no one any good 838 miles from where they used to live.DAVID D.

First problem was owner did not set up my 24/7 truck share reservation correctly. Second problem I was on hold with customer service for 50 minutes trying to get help, but no one ever answered. Finally had another location log in to my account and convert it to the truck share option so I could finally leave after an hour of trying to pick up. Third problem when i was returning, the app would not accept pictures of the odometer/fuel gauge so i could not officially check the van in. I then had to contact the office when they reopened the following day to finalize the bill. I will never use this location again and i will NEVER use the truck share option.Nichole M.

Took over an hour to get truck. I ended up helping another couple in front of me find a location that could handle their one way rental. This resulted in me picking up the truck late and returning it late. Upon arrival, I found the gate locked. My son was just ahead of me he was locked inside the gate and I was locked out. Finally a car came that had a code to exit. I blocked the gate so my son could leave and left the truck inside a The gate and deposited the keys and contract in drop box.GARY F.

Representative falsified contract. Truck contract said it was at half a tank, actually truck had only a quarter tank of gas. Mileage was also incorrect, there where an additional 5 miles on truck that was not placed on contact. This was not the original place my reservation was made for and I was switched to this location one evening before pickup.. I do not recommend this location if the representative can not place correct information on contracts.Malik R.

The location was fine and their service was good. The service from uhaul was not good at time of check in. Online check-in on the website did not work and no one answered at the uhaul customer service number. I waited on hold for 15 minutes and then gave up. Lot not accessible. No one answered the call, could not open the fence with Keypad. We were instructed to leave the trailer outside the locked fence, and disconnect the heavy trailer on a very steep incline, with the heavy unit almost rolling doen the steep incline, into oncoming traffic.Christopher G.

The truck was not ready to be picked up. The self check in did not work. Took over half an hour to get check in after multiple phone calls and waiting on hold. Very unpleasant experience. Will not be renting from UHaul again.Alexander C.

Make sure the gas tank is full or almost full so that the renter doesn't have to pay 1.09/mile to go out of their way and fill the tank. Between 1/4 and 1/2 tank isn't enough to start a rental on most will be taking it home and then onto a new home. My first stop was the gas station luckily it was up the hill from the rental place and I only incurred 1 mile but still I had to go out of my way to do it when I should have had a straight shot up the road from the rental locationjulie B.
I was told I could return the trailer after hours at no additional rate. When I did return it, I unhooked it and stored it without any assistance from a Uhaul representative and I was still charged for a second day unknowingly, even though I was told I would not be. Then, after 3 weeks, I receive a receipt in my email with an additional charge on my card. Poor communication on behalf of this representative.Scott O.
I had my father pick this trailer up for me because he was the one with the truck. I placed the reservation online. I chose to not have insurance and selected the option of "pay uhaul immediately for any and all damage" When my dad got there the worker implied I had added insurance and my dad signed the dotted line and left with the trailer. I was emailed a copy of all the charges and was stuck with the insurance fee that I stated I did not want. I know this is only $8 but I did not wish to insure the trailer. I was already spending more than I wanted bc I had to upgrade to a trailer with a ramp due to availability which was $6.00 more.Samantha W.

Went to 3 locations with reservations made on the phone with U-Haul and no one had the truck. This place had the truck finally but she tried telling me they did not and it was sitting right outside her window. Took abt 45 minutes to check it out. Very slow. Service, location, and truck were fine . It was the price gouging by u-haul that was disconcerting.. the price increased by almost .50 per mile on weekends . Your competition was only .69 a mile ... next time I'll choose Penske .... sorry , but $40 is worth changing for ...Jim P.

I picked up the truck and it showed gas at 3/8. I get in the truck and its 1/4 so I have to go to the rental rep and have him initial this. I also get into a truck with trash and gatorade bottles sliding around in the truck as im driving. I have to sweep the back of the truck. I turn truck in with correct gas and they email me a receipt charging gas and cleaning fee. They ended up refunding me but it seemed like a scam on the cleaning fee when I had to clean the truck in the first place. Also the gas correction wasn't communicated in the system. I wont rent from this location again. Just a hassle especially when you do the right thing and still get charged.Edward R.

When given the option at the time of rental you could extend the time if needed. The day of return you receive a call about if returning or not and you decide to keep one more day. Than you receive a call back 10 minutes later only to tell you, you better have the vehicle back by that time are you will be assessed with all kinds of fees. Could of been a better experience. Once I return the vehicle on time I was stranded with no time to get a pick driver to return back home where movers were working.Letitia S.

the person at this location seemed to be disorganized or flustered when we arrived later than our planned pick up time. had lots of trouble with getting the computer program to work for pickup. did not explain the fuel guage on the bill showed where it should be when we returned the uhaul. said 1/4 tank. I had not rented uhaul before and did not really look at the bill and understand what that meant. we returned uhaul with 1/4 of a tank as personnel there said. then got a fuel charge of 6.80. would have only cost me 3.00 to fill the rest of the way. disgusting the personnel did not explain better what I was looking at. hopefully won't need to rent another uhaul from there ever again.Yvonne O.

The lady working for front desk was excellent. Very polite and just awesome! The issue was the trailer allocation was terrible. It took me 25 minutes to get the trailer off the property. One direction was so tight there was no way to get the trailer or my truck through it and I ended up having to back the trailer up the entire way and dodge trucks and fences. Very disappointing. Thankfully I have trailer hauling experience which helped but if I sent my wife to get the trailer we would have had to cance the u haul.Cory M.

Though available trailer was an upgrade in size to what I needed and rented for same price, I had to travel a long distance to pick it up due to it being the only one available in Area. Kind of expected a 10 % discount due to distance from where I was at but that didn't happen. Inconvenienced me for 3 hours of unproductive time,gas,and stress. Dealer service was good. Just disappointed for the inconvenience and wasted time.David B.

The scheduled drop off date was a Sunday, per Uhaul. The facility is closed on Sunday. Not usually an issue but the facility is behind a coded security gate. I waited until a person who had a storage locker at this facility came to the gate, entered there code, and I followed them in. I also waited 5 minutes until that same person was done, entered their code, and I was able to follow them out. Some different arrangements need to be made or an after hours contact number should be posted. I called and confirmed the drop off. Spoke with them, very nice, they were surprised I was able to get in and out.Thomas H.
When I reserved my u haul they set me up at Fenton self storage. I picked up a truck I had reserved for 6 hours at 9 a.m. and it took until 10 a.m. to even get it. They told me I couldn't return it there because they closed at noon and the lot was gated. So I had to ask the receptionist to call and set it up to be taken back somewhere else. She contacted check-in and told me to take it to beiers auto body to return it. When I got the truck there to return it neither the receptionist OR the u haul check in had called them to let them know so they were confused. This set my moving day back an entire hour, I was charged by the mile and had to change my original route to accommodate u-haul's screw up, was never contacted by u haul and should have received a discount. As someone who works in customer service I was shocked that such a well known, reputable company took such poor care of a 1st time customer. I will be reluctant to recommend this service to anyone in the future and will not use again myself if not contacted after leaving this feedback. SERVICE RECOVERY is very important...it can make or break a company.Leslie C.
