I was told i would have it for 24 hrs an i was given from 4pm to 9am the next am i never even used the milage at all or gas an asked to be given the deal i was quoted on the phone an i was told no i still need a uhaul an i am out that 70 dollars i want what i was offered an told was the deal

I would NEVER recommend Uhaul to ANYONE. Uhaul cost me approx. 500$ in time off work, time on the phone and gas (on top of the trailer rental). I will stress I am not someone who ever writes reviews, good or bad, but the service I received from Uhaul was Unacceptable. The trailer itself was fine, however the service and professionalism was the worst i've ever received; I work in the service industry and I would have lost my job over the treatment I received. Employees give false information and obscure notes are in your file. Their terrible system doesn't give you an accurate location and time and it is only confirmed the day before! (don't believe anything the employees say in advance or confirmation emails, as it will change!) Spoke with upper management customer service (took me 4 times calling in with no call backs, and refused to hang-up until I was addressed) and they said that no financial compensation would be given as I had received and dropped off the trailer. They did not take any accountability for the errors their employees made and that it resulted in soooo much headaches and financial loss for us 2 days before moving across canada! As long as they get paid and they have their equipment they don't care about their customers. Customer service is a waste of time... I did not feel like I was treated properly or fairly. According to their records everything has been resolved. If everything doesn't go perfectly I guarantee you will regret choosing Uhaul.

No dolly was available. The trailer didn’t have a jack on it — the hitch is extremely heavy and had to be manually lifted on — takes 3 people to lift — too much weight for the customer to lift

It would be nice to pick up the truck with a full tank of fuel and not have to add $150 in fuel to the truck on top of the $300 to pay for the rental!

Guy didn’t know what he was doing. Made me pay way more than I needed to, not the requested days and not even enough mileage to make my trip from uhaul store to uhaul store. The guy behind should be fired because he’s an idiot and is playing with people’s time, lives and money. This store is also a shit hole. Smashed glass front window.

The only issue was that I went to pick up the trailer alone and needed help to get the hitch onto the ball. The person on staff was helpful, but I should have taken someone to help since there is no jack on the trailer.

The cab of the vehicle had food crumbs everywhere and the right rear passenger side tire was low on air. When I pointed this out to the clerk, I was told because of the cold weather that was the problem with the tire. Being mechanically inclined I knew this was not the case and when I pointed out the cab she informed me they do not expect it back in show room condition. I have never met a more rude & condescending individual in my life, I guess she must not have very much power in her life because she loves to talk down to people and ignore questions until she chooses to answer them. I will never use this location again and it if highly doubtful I will ever use U-Haul again either. B.J. Perry

Rating:

Plow the lot and dig out the unit before it needs to be picked up. Probably would be okay if the weather had been better but spending an hour and a half trying to get it out of the snow and using my pickup to get it out of the lot is less than ideal. There should also be some sort of procedure to rescue one of they do get stuck, the person at the location had a heck of a time trying to find anyone who could help.

This U-Haul is well located and the staff was very helpful. Check out was fast and the truck was cleaner that we expected for a rental unit. Price was reasonable as well. Will rent again if needed.
