I was charged a after hours drop off fee when i wasnt told I would have been the truck was dropped off by the time I was told to have it back by actually before the time just dont think it's fair to do so I want to be contacted......919 808 6101 thanks

It took 50 minutes to go through the whole ordeal of waiting for the Uhaul person to arrive to attach the trailer and sign the paperwork. When I got home and opened the trailer it was full of debris and required 15 minutes of cleaning before I could use it. There was glass in the gravel parking lot that I had to drive in to get the trailer.

the van was not cleaned before I got it. of course, that does not affect performance, and I had the van, did what I needed to do, and returned it with ease.

Hands 2 Hands was very helpful. UHaul disappointed. During the involved process of returning the truck after hours with a phone app, at the very end I locked the keys in the truck. I was charged $100 and threatened with 2 additional days rental. Admittedly I did not take the insurance, but those are heavy charges, more than the whole 1 day truck rental, for what must be a somewhat frequent failing. I had only looked at UHaul for this rental. In the future, UHaul is unlikely to be considered at all.

The store serving this uhaul was dirty and the uhaul smelt like throw up, it was sticky and wet inside and the steering wheel was pushed to the right so in order to drive the uhaul straight you had to have the steering wheel to the right. Also the lady charged us extra claiming we brought the haul back 2 days after we originally brought it back and added an additional $200 to the invoice with random charges. I want my money back in full for this horrible uhaul experience.

So, I just received my bill from a uhaul rental I had this past Saturday. The back of the uhaul was filthy when I received it and I was just charged $25 for a cleaning fee. When I got to my house after picking up the truck I noticed stains all on the floor in the back. I feel like I shouldn't be charged a cleaning fee for something that wasn't my fault. All I moved was furniture and I left absolutely nothing in the cab or the back when I returned it. I checked all over the truck when I picked it up for damage, but I didn't think to check the back and now I am being penalized for somebody else's mess.

Truck I think may have been one of the first U-Hauls ever built. The dash board lights were very dark and hard to see. Thankfully I wasn’t moving throughout the night or I would’ve had no way of knowing how fast I was going. When we arrived to pick up the truck it was in the back lot wedged up against another truck so much that I couldn’t even fit between the two to do an inspection and I’m only a 6’ tall 190 lb guy. Overall experience left a lot to be desired, I would highly suggest just driving up the road to security self storage and getting one of their trucks instead.. I know I am much more then likely going to go back to using them for my moving needs going forward.

Lousy customer service and rude replies when asked questions. Shops like this will eventually bring a bad name to UHaul. This shop exaggerates damages and adds too much to the final cost. Will never shop again at this place nor recommend anyone to this place.

Waited in line for 30 minutes while the front desk worker yelled at someone on the phone, trying to get someone else's rental situation figured out. I made reservations but it seemed very difficult for them to figure out what to do to get me a truck.

My reservation was at 10 am. The owners were late and didn't get there until 10:30 am. Extremely late. And then I had to speak to the cashiers mother over her cell phone to check out. It took much longer than expected. 3 more customers had reservations there as well with me and we all had to wait for them to open up late when they said they opened at 10am. I was there at 9:45. I will not be using this location ever again.

When I went to pick up my uhaul truck, it was supposed to be in front of the store “Hands2Hands”. However, it was not. It was behind the store in a separate fenced off parking lot with an assortment of scrap metal, broken down cars/trucks and random equipment. Also, the 36 blankets I rented were not present and I had to drive all the way to a different uhaul location to pick them up. After being told I would not be charged for the blankets, I still was. Overall, it was a negative experience and a negative look on the uhaul franchise.

The pick-up was not well organized, and the location was opened later than advertised. The salesperson was uninformed and the truck rented was not there and we had to settle for a smaller one. The truck was dirty, and I could not get the app to accept the choice. The return was easy, however.

I got charged for something I didn’t not touch or use! And when i expressed that to them they tried to say the seal was broken. When it was not even touched. Very poor service. I’m disappointed in uhaul and the company

Try implementing a lot policy. I did not realize I’d have to pay for 2 different orders just cause it was late. Things happen and I got tied up but that’s a lot for being delivered the same day just a later time. So maybe just a late fee type

Overall U-haul experience was not good. Had a reservation at a store at 3001 Capital Blvd but they didn’t have a truck available. Got redirected to a different store that wasn’t open until 10 am (reservation started at 9 am). As a result, lost an hour of mover’s time I had booked that cost me 60 dollars. Will look into other companies for future moves. Hands 2 hands was okay overall but the entire interaction with the U-haul company was frustrating.

this was not my original location. original location did not have my reserved trailer so i had to trek over to this place. location a bit sketchy. although person there was very nice, she was not trained with uhaul rental and I had to go through it three times.

personnel was very helpful, however site is small and disjointed, the equipment is parked in another lot adjacent to the store, which is also full of other non rental items.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul. We arrived and the staff lost both of the keys to the trucks sitting outside. Obviously when you rent a truck, you are on a time schedule so I was waiting while my movers were sitting at my apartment and I only had them for a limited time. I will never go back to this location.

The clerk gave me no paperwork at all. Said she texted it to me, never got it. Then she said there wasn’t enough gas in it. I had the teuckntil six and brought it back at 4, filled it back up to where it was before I got it. I told her I was going to take it and put more gas on it, she said no there are people waiting for the truck, curious since the truck wasn’t due back for another two hours. Very poor experience

Brakes did not sound too good, slight wear indicator could be heard. I feel the brakes should not get to this condition when people are depending on them for heavy load carrying. If PM actions are already in place maybe the duration of brake change should be evaluated based on mileage opposed to just wearing down first. Insurance coverage- so i purchased the basic coverage U-Haul has but... doesn’t include damage to the top of the truck??? This seems very suspect to us customers And seems like a way to either get more money out of us or make us responsible for any accidents that we have specially paid to protect ourselves from. Not allowing coverage for the entire truck with the basic insurance protection we purchase is ridiculous. Cover the entire truck and not just 90 percent of it.

Location was convenient, staff were friendly, but was a good thing I tow quite often. Be aware that trailers do not have jacks attached. You need your own jack to get the trailer off of your vehicle or you need to be super strong. Staff at this location was unable to remove the trailer from my car. I used my personal car jack to remove trailer. Parking also very tight. Need excellent backing skills in the lot. Good luck.

The owner was sitting in her car for >20 minutes after “opening” time so I was stuck waiting to get my Uhual. The gas and mileage were incorrect and she did not change it in the computer system instead wrote on the reciept she gave us the correct information. The outside of the truck was covered in stickers from previous damages. The brakes needed some maintenance.

Hands to hands is literally a junk yard/wasteland. The fenced area where they claimed my rental was was not only unsafe but extremely unsanitary. My 5 yr old asked if we were at a junk yard. My rental ended up not being there and the lady made me sign for it at that location and drive to another city to pick up the product. This is the second time it's happened to me with this location. I'm not at all happy and certainly, without a doubt, will never come back there again for anything. Having to drive across town was not only an inconvenience but hauling that massive trailer costs more in gas and mileage on my truck. I'm not a happy customer.
