This is not the first time that I prefer this location, but first time to review. As far as my experience, trucks/vans are always dirty, smell too bad. You do not feel comfortable to touch anywhere even on steering wheel. Please organize an surprise visit to the store and see what I mean. Thank you.Egemen A.

It was difficult to use the app at pickup. Even though I have rented repeatedly in the same town there was a process to verify me that simply called someone who knew me. Was not efficient to the tune of 45 mins to run through the reservation. I called in the morning to extend my rental because the website and app wouldn't recognize me and said I did not have a current rental. When I got to the center I was told I was late and would be charged a $50 lost reservation fee. In the past I have called if the app didn't have the ability to extend the reservation I called each U-Haul and would make sure the extension was ok. I was less than 5 miles away and able to return it either at the moment or when one became available. You can't replace a live person with an app and while it's a great tool the renter needs to do things remotely, the homeless and addictsJennifer S.
There are very little signs indicating the location of the facility. There were no lights and it was nearly pitch black as we chose the 24/7 return option. I would not feel safe going there alone at night especially.Kaitlin L.

When I arrived to pick up the truck, the key to my assigned truck was not available. I call the 800 number for U-Haul, who eventually had to call the site owner. I had to wait for the owner to arrive to give me the key. This process took an hour. I was supposed to get the truck at 7am and it was 8am by the time I left. I spent an hour waiting. This backed me for the entire day. When I returned the truck (early I might add), I was curtly asked if I put gas in it which I did. I said to the owner that it would be nice if she could do something for the hour I lost and told her that I would leave it up to her. I didn't get a response nor did she do anything. I will say that someone asked me where I got the truck and what I thought of the truck sharing program. I told them that you're better off getting a truck when a location is open. I also recommended that a different location be used. All I've ever used is U-Haul and this was not an overall good experience this time.William G.

The front lady was very rude and told me and my friend to go online when we walked up and hadn't said anything. We had already booked online and this was our first experience and we needed help but we're met with bad attitude and laziness. She repeatedly told us how many fees there were and talked down to us like we were an inconvenience to her.Claire I.

The interior was dirty with trash in cab. We rented a dolly and it was not there- no notice that not available. We called number for assistance at location and no one returned our call. Yard was mosquito infested and mobile check in requires a good bit of time around vehicle while taking pictures.Tricia B.

It's a thrift store and there's literally junk in the yard everywhere. You have to back the truck back into a tiny tiny space and the lady took forever finding my reservation. Truck wasn't that clean and the alignment was so off my steering wheel was basically sideways.Kaitlin W.
The location was basically a house that had been turned into a thrift /antique store. Lots of "donations" piled everywhere... We were also charged $19 on the receiving end. I do not recall being told that we would pay a fee to drop off. There was no explanation as to why we were charged...and frankly we were exhausted and needed to get back to the apartment. This location is a second hand store with a field in the back. The house itself does not have air conditioning. They had no dollys available even though we had requested one. Woman could not give us an answer on a credit due to use having to drive an extra 20 miles to pick up the truck we reserved.Anna L.

There is nothing wrong with this location and the owner is very nice and helpful but you guys really dropped the ball on this one. I showed up at 10 am as was scheduled and the store was not set to open until 10:30 am, so I had to wait for 30 minutes. When the owner did get there, she noted that both I and another customer were picking up 15' trucks that day and they only had 1 15' truck on the lot, meaning you guys messed up or didn't notify anyone that there was a mixup. You need to fix yourselves, not the locations.Matthew C.

I've rented a number of trucks and trailers from U-Haul, this location and the posted information was by far the least desireable. The yard where the trucks are parked is full of junk, I stepped on a nail which went through my shoe, just not a great customer experience. The truck I received wasn't clean, there were pieces of broken glass and cigarette buts in the back and there were cigarette ashes all over the cab. I used my blower to clean both out before we loaded anything into the truck.Michael W.

I arranged to pick up the truck prior to the location opening, which is fine because of pick up thru the uhaul app. This location is gross. Looks like Sanford and Sons yard. Crap everywhere, soaking wet furniture everywhere outside. The app directed me to the front of the building for the truck. It wasn't there. I eventually found it hidden behind a building across a muddy field. About as far as possible from where it should have been, and as far as possible from where I had to find they keys. This whole experience took an hour. When it should have been 15 minutes. Muddy, gross, disorganized mess.Andrew G.

The extra billing that doubled the cost of the uhaul was not clearly communicated and I will be disputing this transaction. Charging someone for 8 gallons of gas for less than a 40 mile trip is absolutely ridiculous along with the service charges! I will not be using uhaul every again!Daniel C.

I would recommend to a friend if their trucks are in better shape. Checkout process at the store was easy and lady was helpful. The truck itself had 95,000 miles on it and was not in the greatest condition. It had been smoked in, had a large crack across the windshield, and was clearly very out of date. When I turned on the radio, it blasted really loudly and he knob did not work to turn the volume down so I had to ride in silence for my 3 hour drive. Location was fine but they need nicer trucks that are more up to date and cleaner.DAVIS P.

This rental was my worst experience with UHaul. Original rental location was closed but still able to book trucks there. UHaul moved me to another site that was supposed to be 3.9 miles away but was 6.4 miles away costing me 12.8 miles (an extra $11). The confusion and relocation also cost me over 1 hour of my time. My reservation was guaranteed but then not supported at reservation site. A request for re-imbursement has been made. I hope U-Haul makes good on this issue or I will remain dissatisfied with your company and advise others of this. Rated equipment low as well as truck was old and filthy inside and out.greg D.

The self service pickup had some glitches. Took more than 30 minutes to get a response. Your app insisted on a different phone number than the two I had given you. Since the only other one I had was a home number and I was sitting in your parking lot, no one was there to answer. 🙄 The return process was much smoother and satisfactory.Tamara K.

Hands 2 Hands is a thrift shop. There are piles of things everywhere outside the building. Inside the building looks like a hoarder has been there for decades. It's junky and does not appear to be clean. The vehicle was in good condition and clean. However, uploading the required pictures was problematic. You need to improve your app. I had to get the clerk at the thrift store to send a picture of the fuel gauge and the odometer because your app malfunctioned repeatedly.Cecil W.
Truck was not swept out although i was told it was clean and i should bring it back clean. Gas tank was not full although i was told it was full and i should bring it back full. (I did fill it to the top for the next person) The person at the location did not have the kind of dolly i had asked for. The person at the location had to call someone else to get my rental going. They had to call at least 5 times before the â€œofficialâ€ person picked up. I left 2 messages saying i was picking the truck up 2 hours late and asked for a call back both times to confirm. No one called me back so i wasn't sure this business was actually open until i got there.Steven S.

I spent 30 minutes outside trying to get the app to work with my drivers license then once that was the person assisting me inside had to call off site people to figure out what i was asking for which took them 10 minutes because the person they called kept declining their call. Then once they got the ok they handed me the key and i went out to leave, when i opened the back there was no equipment in the truck so i had to go back in and again the lady had no clue what i was talking about, so again she called this other person who had to explain to them what was going on. so all in all it took me about an hour to get my rental.Trey G.

I booked for a 20 footer online, and was meant to pick up the truck by 10 am the next day. On getting there and having checked in online, I approached the front desk for the keys. I was surprised to be told that they do not have my reservation even after showing the confirmation emails and text messages from U-haul, as well as my check-in. Ostensibly, they had another customer to who they wanted to rent the truck. I had to ask customer service to call them to release the keys, and when the customer service officer called and told them that I was the person who was to rent the truck, the front desk officer dubiously kept mentioning another person's name even though the client service officer gave them my full name. The whole exchange wasted over 1 hour of my time. I would really like U-haul to address this, as it was a most unpleasant experience.Alvan-Emeka U.
