The uHaul I was given was throwing a code for an O2 sensor and gave me a check engine light before I even left so I told the main rental guy that it was saying check engine light and he said it was a misfire but let me drive the uhaul anyways because that was the one they had of the 10' truck. While driving it, the code went away but then the truck would not shift mid-driving and bogged down and then I did shift but very badly and then put the engine light on again. The truck acted okay and didn't leave me stranded but needed to be worked on once I gave it back. It only had 8,000 miles haha but yeah if they could check equipment before renting them out that would be great. Otherwise I love this uhaul location!Andrew K.

Bald rear tires on the truck were replaced, thankfully. Front tires were marginal, should have been replaced also, for a cross-country drive (NC to OR). Second time this year we have had tire issues with U-haul trucks. If you don't get more proactive on tire safety, litlgation maybe in your future.Christopher B.

The fine people at Jim Campen made sure that the vehicle transport trailer that I was renting was safe to haul up the road. They went above and beyond by testing the hitch coupler and after verifying that it was defective, they switched it and provided me another trailer which, thank god was available. These vehicle transport trailers are well built and very stout. I felt extremely comfortable hauling my 92 4runner from western NC to FL with it, and yes, even through the very treacherous and poorly maintained highways of SC (I-26), this trailer did great.Pablo L.

Manager was unfriendly, rude, and very unprofessional, complaining about all that was not going well that morning and his being overwhelmed due to lack of help. We unfortunately had to wait for almost 45 minutes after arriving, even after having it reserved for several days. I will not make the mistake of going there for anything in the future and do not recommend them to anyone.RICHARD S.

Most importantly, our belongs arrived to this location just fine. I couldn't pickup a Ubox the first visit to this location because one wasn't on a trailer. There was a lack of communication on the dealer side. After that, return and pickup of subsequent boxes was relatively painless. I spent a lot of time standing around the office as the employee responsible for ubox rentals fussed with Uhauls's software. Overall, just an average experience.Ron B.

This guy claimed I returned the truck late which I actually returned a day early and attempted to charge me for an additional day. I returned the truck with just over 3/4 full,but he charged me for fuel. Rip off artistDavid H.

The truck had pallets and what looked like cat litter in the back. The pics showed the outside. They were non communicative with the drop off location about having left the back in such bad condition. I had to dispose of the pallets to avoid a fee at drop off. Very poor customer service. I understood that my ubox was going to be stored indoors. It was not and contents had some internal moisture. Thankfully, I did not have the wood container. No fault of Jim Campen-they don't appear to be equipped for inside storage and I'm not sure how that location was selected by Uhaul.Nancy B.
